Beloved Servant
Please pray for an end to evil things happening in the US including racism, unfair deportations that cause harm to individuals, children and families and other things. Thank you.

We join you in praying for our nation and we agree with you that evil in every form should come to an end and that God would bring righteousness, justice, and mercy across the United States.

We believe racism is sin and evil in the eyes of God, for He created all people in His image. Genesis 1:27 says God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him. Acts 17:26 says he made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth. God shows no partiality, Acts 10:34, and Scripture rebukes any favoritism or hatred based on ethnicity or background. James 2:9 says if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors. We pray that God would convict hearts, heal divisions, and help us all to love our neighbors as ourselves, Mark 12:31, and to see every person as valuable and beloved by Him.

We also hear your burden for deportations that cause harm to individuals, children and families. We share your compassion for families and children who are suffering, and we pray for them with deep concern. At the same time we look to Scripture which teaches both compassion and order. God calls us to show kindness to the sojourner, Leviticus 19:33-34 says when a stranger lives as a foreigner with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong, you shall love him as yourself, and He also ordained governing authorities to uphold the law and to do justice. Romans 13:1 says let every person be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and Romans 13:4 says the ruler is a servant of God to you for good. We therefore pray not for lawlessness or for harshness, but for justice tempered with mercy, Micah 6:8 says what does Yahweh require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. We pray for our leaders to have wisdom to enforce laws fairly, with due process, with compassion, and with protection for children and families, and that any unfairness, cruelty, or abuse would be exposed and corrected. We pray for families who are separated or afraid, that God would comfort them, provide for their needs, and keep children safe, for Psalm 68:5 says God is a father of the fatherless and a defender of the widows.

We pray also for all the other evils in our land, for violence, hatred, injustice, and corruption, that God would restrain evil and bring healing. Proverbs 14:34 says righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people. 1 Timothy 2:1-2 urges that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in high authority, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. And we claim the promise of 2 Chronicles 7:14 that if his people who are called by his name will humble themselves, pray, seek his face, and turn from their wicked ways, then he will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory, Romans 3:23, and our greatest need is forgiveness and a new heart through faith in Jesus who died for our sins and rose again. When hearts are changed by Christ, racism, hatred, and cruelty are overcome by His love.

So we pray together with you in the name of Jesus.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to have mercy on the United States. Forgive our sins and the sins of our nation. We ask You to root out racism and every form of hatred and partiality, and teach us to love as You love. Give wisdom, integrity, and compassion to our leaders, judges, lawmakers, and those who enforce immigration laws, that they may act justly and love mercy and not cause unjust harm to individuals, children, and families. Protect the vulnerable, comfort those who are afraid or hurting, provide for families in need, and keep children safe in Your care. Restrain evil, expose injustice, and let righteousness and truth prevail in our communities. Pour out Your Spirit upon Your people that we would humble ourselves, pray, and turn from wicked ways, and that You would heal our land. Draw many to salvation through Jesus Christ, for only He can change hearts and bring lasting peace. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Thank you for bringing this burden to prayer. We hear your sorrow over the hurt you see across the country, especially racism that wounds people made in God's image and the pain families and children experience when deportations tear them apart.

We share your longing for evil to end and for people to be treated with dignity and fairness. What has helped us is remembering that God's heart is tender toward those who suffer and that He calls each of us to be part of the answer in the places He has put us. Systems are made of people, and lasting change grows as individual hearts are renewed and then live that renewal out in small, faithful ways toward neighbors.

One simple step we have found meaningful is to turn a broad concern into a personal prayer and action. You might choose one local place where you can help carry a burden this month, whether praying regularly for a specific family, supporting a church ministry that serves vulnerable neighbors, or looking for a way to show kindness across a dividing line in your own community.

We are praying with you.

Father, we bring our nation before You and ask for Your mercy. Comfort children and families who are afraid or hurting, give wisdom to those in authority, soften hearts where there is prejudice or hardness, and make us faithful to love our neighbors as You have loved us. Lead us toward what is just and good, in Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace, for it is right to lament evil and to seek the Lord to stay its hand.

We agree that racism is sin, for God shows no partiality and commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves, and any contempt for those made in His image is an offense against Him. We agree also that cruelty and injustice, wherever they are found, are evil in His sight, and that children and families who suffer harm call for our compassion and our intercession. At the same time we know that the Lord loves justice and has ordained lawful authority for the ordering of society, so we pray not for license nor for lawlessness, but for justice to be done justly and mercy to be shown mercifully.

He is the God of Peace and He has, on His part, prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation. That reconciliation He committed to His Son, and the word of reconciliation He has committed to us. No law and no policy can heal the heart of man. The hatred which divides race from race, the hardness which forgets the stranger and the fatherless, these are wounds of sin which only Christ can cure. We therefore pray first that sinners would be reconciled to God through the blood of His Son, for when we are at peace with God we are taught to be at peace one with another, and divisions in churches and in nations never begin with those full of love to the Savior.

There is a unity of the Spirit which is worthy to be kept, and it is not a unity in error nor a unity in tyranny, but a unity in the Truth of God through the Spirit of God. We pray that the Lord would give to His people such a unity, that we might live near to Christ and so promote true peace, and that He would keep us from that terrible unity which is the unity of devils and of those who glut themselves to the ruin of all around. May the Lord chase out of our hearts everything which would break the unity which God has established, and make us instruments of holy unity in our homes, our churches and our land.

We pray also with compassion, for a Christian without compassion has missed a very vital part of the Christian character. Our Lord Jesus can have compassion on the ignorant and on them that are out of the way, and He was moved with compassion to give Himself. We ask Him to put that same compassion in us and in those who bear rule, that with tender hearts they might execute justice without partiality and without cruelty, remembering that the soul without knowledge is not good and that every sufferer is still a man or woman or child for whom Christ died. We ask that children and families would be protected from harm, that the vulnerable would not be forgotten, and that those who administer the law would be granted wisdom to discern what is just and what is merciful.

Justice itself is dear to God, for He is just and the justifier of him that believes in Jesus. When Justice once is satisfied it were injustice if it should ask for more, and God can be just and yet the justifier. We pray that earthly justice might reflect something of that divine pattern, that it might be unimpeachable and yet not unmerciful, that it might punish what is truly evil and protect what is truly innocent, and that it might not lift its hand in oppression.

Let us pray together. O God of Peace, who has reconciled us to Yourself by Jesus Christ, look upon this land. Forgive us where we have sinned in pride and partiality, and wash us in the blood which satisfies Justice. Pour out Your Spirit upon us, that we may love what You love and hate what You hate. Grant to those in authority wisdom and fear of Your name, that they may rule justly and have compassion on the ignorant and the needy. Guard children and families from harm, comfort those who suffer, and turn the hearts of all to seek first Your kingdom. Make Your church to abound in compassion and in truth, to weep where most it loves and to labor to bring souls to Christ, in whom alone is lasting peace. This we ask in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our peace. Amen.

We join you in prayer for our nation and for all who are suffering from evil and injustice.

We ask God, who is both just and merciful, to bring an end to racism and every form of hatred and partiality. Every person is made in the image of God, and we pray that hearts would be changed to see one another with that dignity, to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to turn from sin in repentance toward Christ, through whom alone is salvation.

We also bring before the Lord your burden for families and children affected by deportations and other hardships. We pray that God would grant wisdom to those in authority, that they would execute justice with fairness and with mercy, as Scripture teaches that true justice is not harsh alone but mingled with mercy and consideration. We ask that laws would be upheld righteously, that due process would be honored, that the vulnerable, especially children, would be protected from harm, and that families would not be torn apart unjustly but would be treated with compassion and integrity.

We pray for an end to all evil, for peace in our communities, for comfort for those who have been harmed, and for the church to be a witness of truth and love in word and deed. May the Lord have mercy on our land, restrain evil, establish what is good, and draw many to know His grace and to walk in His ways.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our judge, who will one day make all things right. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden for our nation. It is right to grieve over evil and to ask God to bring it to an end, and to pray especially where children and families are suffering harm.

Scripture shows us that God is a God of righteousness and justice, and He desires that justice prevail for everyone. True justice is impartial. It does not show favoritism to one person over another, and it does not seek to curry favor. It weighs matters fairly and acts without partiality. When justice is perverted, the whole social order begins to break down, because the foundations of a nation cannot stand without it.

The prophet described a time when truth had fallen in the street and justice stood far off, and equity could not enter. Even in the courts where people should be able to find fairness, they could not be assured of it. We see something of that same condition now, and it is a cause for prayer. God has always taken up the cause of the poor, the afflicted and the needy. He calls those who judge and lead to do justice for them, to deliver them from the hand of the oppressor and to ensure that the vulnerable are not crushed.

Racism in any form is contrary to God's heart, for He made all people in His image and calls us to love our neighbor. Any policy or practice that harms families and children without just cause is also contrary to His compassion. At the same time, God honors order and law, and He calls for laws to be applied with both fairness and mercy, with due process and with care for human dignity.

A nation is truly blessed when it recognizes God and keeps Him at the center of its life. When a people acknowledge Him, seek His ways and walk in righteousness, they know His blessing and strength. When a people push Him out of their national consciousness, they begin to experience the consequences, and the nation goes downhill. The very things that once made a people strong are neglected, and what follows is confusion, division and a loss of justice. That is why the deepest need of our nation is to return to the Lord.

So we join you in praying that God would expose and restrain evil, that He would bring an end to racism and to every form of hatred and partiality, and that He would move upon those in authority to act justly, with wisdom and compassion. We pray that any enforcement of law would be impartial, timely and humane, that children and families would be protected from unnecessary harm, and that the poor and the needy would receive true justice. We pray that truth would be restored in our streets and in our courts, and that righteousness would prevail again.

Above all we remember that Jesus Himself bore the greatest injustice of all when He, though innocent, was condemned and suffered for our sins. He satisfied the righteous demands of justice so that sinners might be forgiven and reconciled to God. Only through Him is there lasting hope for personal and national healing.

May the Lord give you peace as you continue to intercede, and may He work in our nation to establish justice tempered with mercy, to heal what is broken, and to draw many hearts back to Himself.
