We hear the urgency and the distress in your heart and we join you right now before the throne of grace, lifting you and your family up together in Jesus' name. We understand how heavy this feels, the desire to protect your home and your peace, especially when you have already endured torment from neighbors on the other side and have not been able to open your home on that side for years. It is right to bring this burden to the Lord, for He cares deeply about your dwelling and your peace.
We take comfort that you said may God's will be done, because that is the heart of true faith. You quoted that with God all things are possible, and that is true as Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, With God all things are possible. And the Lord Himself declares in Jeremiah 32:27, Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me? No, nothing is too hard for Him. He can make a way in a moment, even when we have only hours, but we also trust that His way and His timing are perfect, even when they differ from what we hope for.
We want to gently encourage you in this stressful time not to be consumed by anxiety, but to rest in His sovereignty. The scriptures tell us in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And in 1 Peter 5:7, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We pray that even in these next 24 hours, that peace will guard your heart. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1, and we cling to that for you.
We also noticed that your request speaks of God and of faith, but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To know God's miraculous power and to have peace with Him, we must come through faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and trusting Him as Lord and Savior. It is in His name we pray, and it is through His blood we can boldly approach God. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus, not only for this property but for eternal life.
We also encourage you to seek first His Kingdom even in this desire. In Matthew 6:33 it says, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. And in Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. We pray not only for the property to be granted if it is God's best for you, but that God would provide peace in your home regardless of who moves next door, and that He would soften the hearts of those who have tormented you and give you grace to love even difficult neighbors.
We pray together now for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one and their family to You. Lord, You see the urgency, the few hours, the stress and the longing for security and peace in their home. You know the history of torment they have faced and the fear of it happening again. We ask, Lord, if it is Your will, that You would open the door for them to secure this property next door, that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, that You would provide the favor, the finances, and the opportunity according to Your perfect plan. But Father, above all we pray Your will be done, for we know in Romans 8:28, We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Grant them Your peace that surpasses understanding, calm their anxious heart, and help them to trust You completely. Provide for them, protect their home, and let their home be a place of refuge and testimony to Your goodness. Draw them closer to Jesus, and let them know the assurance of salvation through His name. We ask this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
