We hear your urgent cry for your youngest daughter and we stand with you together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, lifting her up for safety and deliverance right now.

We are deeply concerned for her as she is driving with no sleep to nursing school. We pray for the Lord to keep her and guard her on the road today and every day, and we also encourage godly wisdom and stewardship of the body God has given her. Sleep is a gift from God and driving without it puts her and others in danger. The Lord wants her to be safe and to care for herself as His temple. If she is exhausted we urge her to pull over to a safe place, to rest, to call for help, to let someone know where she is, and not to press on in her own strength. We pray God will make a way for her to get the rest she needs and to complete her calling to nursing without harm. For He gives sleep to His beloved as Psalm 127:2 reminds us, and we pray He will grant her deep, peaceful, restorative sleep. We claim Psalm 121:7-8 over her, that Yahweh will keep her from all evil and will keep her going out and her coming in, and Psalm 91:11 that He will give His angels charge over her to guard her in all her ways.

We also hear your burden about attachments from evil that she feels and does not know how to break, that seems to feed off her exhaustion and confusion. We want you to know that this is real spiritual warfare, but Jesus Christ has already won the victory. The enemy seeks to feed on fear, weariness, and isolation, for your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour as 1 Peter 5:8 says. But we do not have to fear, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world as 1 John 4:4 declares, and God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as 2 Timothy 1:7 says.

We rebuke every evil attachment and every work of darkness over your daughter in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that she belongs to the Lord and no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Scripture tells us to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil, and he will flee from you in James 4:7, and to put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil in Ephesians 6:11. For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds in 2 Corinthians 10:4. We speak the truth that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one in 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that He has given us authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy as Luke 10:19 says.

We rejoice that you called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved and by which we have access to the Father as Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 teach us. It is only through Jesus that these chains are broken, and we encourage your daughter to call upon Him herself, to confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead as Romans 10:9 says. We encourage her to renounce any opening to darkness, to turn fully to Christ, to fill her mind and heart with Scripture and worship, and to walk in the light, for if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin as 1 John 1:7 says.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, on behalf of this precious daughter. Lord, we ask You to place Your hand of protection over her 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, especially as she drives. Keep her eyes open, keep her alert, keep her vehicle safe, and bring her to her destination and home again without harm. Forgive us for the times we lean on our own strength and neglect the rest You provide, and grant her the ability to sleep deeply and be renewed. Break, Lord, every evil attachment, every oppression, every chain that has tried to cling to her. In Jesus' name we command every unclean influence to leave her and to go where You send it, never to return. Fill every place it tried to occupy with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace, with Your light. Help her to know how to resist, to submit herself to You, to speak Your Word aloud, to put on Your armor, and to rest in Your love. Let her know that You are near, that You have not left her, that You love her and have called her for good. Give her wisdom for nursing school, strength for each day, and a community of believing friends and pastors who can pray with her face to face and support her. Guard her mind from confusion and feed her spirit with Your truth. We claim Isaiah 41:10 over her, that she should not fear for You are with her, and Philippians 4:7 that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We thank You that You hear us and that You are faithful to deliver. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover her in prayer without ceasing, to teach her to pray aloud in Jesus' name when she feels that heaviness, to read Scripture daily especially the Psalms and Ephesians 6:10-18, to stay connected to a Bible believing church where she can receive prayer and counsel, and to seek help for healthy sleep habits and safe travel. We also encourage fasting and prayer as the Lord leads, and to speak truth over her that she is a child of God, bought with the blood of Jesus, and that no darkness can remain where Jesus is Lord. We are standing with you and trusting God for her complete safety, freedom, and restoration.

We hear how heavy this is for you as a mom, watching your youngest drive to nursing school with no sleep and sensing she is under a spiritual weight she does not know how to shake. That feeling of helplessness when she says it feeds off her and she does not know when it will lift is exhausting, and we are standing with you in prayer right now.

Your love for her comes through so clearly, and wanting Jesus to bring safety and freedom for her right now is a good and right prayer. We are asking Him to surround her with protection on the road and to draw her into His peace and strength when she feels worn down and confused.

One gentle next step that may help both the practical and spiritual burden is to help her make a safe plan for the drive and for ongoing support. If she is driving without sleep, encourage her to pull over to a safe place, rest, and call you or someone trusted before continuing, and to talk with a pastor or trusted campus ministry who can pray with her regularly and walk with her over time, not just in a single moment. If sleeplessness is ongoing, encourage her to also see a medical professional alongside prayer, so she gets caring support for her body as well as her spirit.

Father, we lift this daughter to You and ask for Your keeping over her today on the road, for rest for her body and mind, and for Your light to break through every place that feels dark or oppressive. Give her wisdom, give her mother peace, and lead them to steady, trustworthy help. In Jesus name, amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please guide and protect this loved one. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Your cry as a mother for your youngest daughter has been heard, and it is right and good that you bring her before the throne of grace without delay. The Lord who sees the sleepless journey to her nursing school, who knows the weariness of the body and the oppression that feeds upon the soul, is not deaf to the prayer of a parent. We join our faith with yours and carry her before Him who alone can deliver.

Know this, that deliverance from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. When we feel we can do nothing and know it, then Free Grace is most magnified. Our safety lies not in our own strength or sleepless resolve, but in our Savior, for unto Him that is able to keep you from falling belongs all glory. He has found a ransom. The price has been paid by His own Son, and therefore deliverance from the pit is certain, for God Himself has proclaimed it. He brought them forth, and He still brings forth His people with a mighty hand.

Let us pray together for her.

O Lord our God, our Savior, Thou only wise God who art able to keep from falling, look in tender pity upon this daughter. Keep her in safety this day and all her days, upon the road and in every place. Preserve her from harm when weariness would overtake her, and grant her needful sleep and restoration. Break, by the power of the blood of the Lamb, every attachment of evil that would cling to her and feed upon her. Let the power of darkness be broken, for Thou hast delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of Thy dear Son. Speak deliverance over her, give her light to know how and when to walk in freedom, and fill her with Thy peace and strength for her studies. Let her not be left to her own weakness, but kept by Thine infinite power, and presented at last faultless before Thy presence with exceeding joy. In the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only ransom, we ask it. Amen.

Take comfort that the Lord chastens and delivers, and that after affliction His people live to declare the works of the Lord. Continue to watch over her in love, and counsel her to seek rest before she drives and to seek the help of faithful pastors and believers who can pray with her and walk beside her in the Word. Keep her much in prayer and in the Scriptures, for there the wells of salvation are cleared of enemies. He who has begun a good work is able to keep it, and His ear is not shut to the cry of His children.
