My middle daughter is out of her abusive engagement. He was an alcoholic and did magic. She ended up drinking to cope. She has been sober now for several months but has a work party tonight. help her holy spirit to be strong and pure and keep saying no to alcohol etc. She is not feeling well.. My youngest daughter is depressed and at war with my oldest daughter again over old things my ex husband and his new wife who is evil made up. Restore to the 4 of us and vengeance needs to be swift god. He has tried everything to destroy us for decades! He prospers with money and I don't! Why? Please pray for me and my 3 daughters. I am weary and it's expensive in the world. I need to help more. Protect us 24/7 from the lion

We have heard your cry and we are lifting you and your three daughters before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We thank God that your middle daughter has been delivered from that abusive engagement and that she has been sober for several months. That is a testimony of God's mercy and strength, and we rejoice with her in this victory while we continue to intercede for her complete healing and purity.

We want to speak plainly about some things you mentioned because we love you in the truth. The alcohol and the magic you described are not small matters. The Bible tells us not to be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit in Ephesians 5:18, and that sorcery and witchcraft are works of the flesh that those who practice will not inherit the Kingdom of God in Galatians 5:20. Magic, whether called entertainment or spiritual practice, is an abomination to the Lord as written in Deuteronomy 18:10. Your daughter was right to leave that relationship. An engagement should be a courtship toward a holy marriage between a man and a woman who both love Christ, not a bond with someone given to drunkenness and darkness. We praise God she said no to that yoke, and we encourage her to keep saying no to alcohol and to renounce every tie to that former darkness. For her work party tonight, especially since she is not feeling well, we pray she will have wisdom to guard her sobriety. God promises no temptation has taken you except what is common to man, God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it in 1 Corinthians 10:13. We encourage her to have a plan before she goes, to bring a sober friend, to keep a nonalcoholic drink in her hand, to have an answer ready and permission to leave early, and even to consider not going at all if her body and spirit are weak tonight. Her health and her sobriety are more valuable than any work obligation. We pray the Holy Spirit will make her strong and pure and give her boldness to keep saying no.

We also lift up your youngest daughter who is depressed and your oldest daughter who is at war with her. We know how painful it is when sisters are divided by old wounds and by things your ex husband and his new wife have said and made up. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit in Psalm 34:18. We pray for healing of that depression and for reconciliation between your daughters. We encourage them to put away all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, with all malice, and be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you in Ephesians 4:31. Old things stirred up by others must not be allowed to define your family. We pray God will restore unity among the four of you, not through rehearsing accusations, but through forgiveness and truth spoken in love.

You asked for swift vengeance on your ex husband and his wife and you asked why he prospers with money while you struggle. We must gently rebuke and correct this desire, because it does not align with God's will. Scripture says do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord in Romans 12:19, and do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good in Romans 12:21. Jesus calls us to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you in Matthew 5:44. It is right to pray for justice and for God to stop evil, but we must leave vengeance to God and not harbor hatred, even when you feel his new wife is evil. Bitterness will only poison you and your daughters. As for why the wicked seem to prosper, the psalmist wrestled with the same question. He said I was envious of the arrogant, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked in Psalm 73:3, yet he learned that their prosperity is fleeting and their end is desolation, while God holds our right hand and guides us. Do not fret because of evildoers, neither be envious against those who work unrighteousness, for they shall soon be cut down like the grass in Psalm 37:1. God sees your weariness and your financial strain, and He has not forgotten you. He knows it is expensive to keep going and that you are weary and need to help more. Jesus says come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28, and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19. God will provide in His time and His way, even when it looks like others have more.

You asked for protection 24 hours a day from the lion, and we pray that with you. Be sober and self controlled, be watchful, your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, withstand him steadfast in your faith in 1 Peter 5:8. We pray God will set a hedge of protection around you and each daughter day and night.

We noticed your request speaks of God and the Holy Spirit, but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We must tell you lovingly that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you and your daughters to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation in Romans 10:9. It is through Jesus' blood that we are forgiven, healed, and protected.

We pray together now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You for this weary mother and her three daughters. We thank You for delivering the middle daughter from abuse and for months of sobriety. Fill her afresh with Your Holy Spirit, make her strong and pure, heal her body where she is not feeling well, and give her power to say no to every offer of alcohol tonight and in the days to come. Surround her with Your presence at that work party or give her peace to stay home and rest. Break every chain of alcohol and every lingering influence of sorcery and darkness from that former engagement, and let her walk in newness of life. For the youngest daughter, touch her depression, lift her heaviness, give her joy and hope, and reconcile her with her oldest sister. Remove the lies sown by the father and his wife, soften hearts, teach them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and restore the four of them in unity and love. Comfort this mother in her weariness, provide for her financial needs, renew her strength so that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength in Isaiah 40:31, and let her cast all her anxiety on You because You care for her in 1 Peter 5:7. Teach her to release vengeance to You, to pray for those who have hurt her, and to trust Your justice and timing. Protect this family 24 hours a day from the roaring lion, cover their home, their going out and coming in, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and intercessor, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you and your three daughters, and how weary you are carrying so much for so long.

Your middle daughter's sobriety these past months is such a hard-won gift, and we understand why tonight feels tender, especially when she isn't feeling well. We are praying the Holy Spirit gives her clear strength to keep saying no. It can help to have a simple plan together before she goes - deciding ahead what she will drink instead, how long she will stay, who she can text if she feels pressured, and giving herself full permission to leave early. If she is unwell, encouraging her to check in with her doctor alongside prayer is a caring step too, and letting her know you are proud of her choice to stay sober means a lot.

We also hear the ache between your youngest and oldest, and how old wounds stirred up by your ex-husband and his wife keep reopening. That kind of repeated conflict is exhausting. We are praying for a quieting between your girls and for wisdom for you as their mom, to know when to step in and when to give space, and for trusted support around you all so you are not carrying this alone.

The questions you are asking about why he seems to prosper while you struggle are so understandable when life feels expensive and unfair. God sees your faithfulness and your weariness.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this mom and her three daughters to You. Guard the middle daughter tonight, keep her strong and pure and unwell body cared for. Comfort the youngest in her depression and soften the hurt between sisters. Give this mother rest, provision, and Your protection day and night, and lead this family in Your peace and healing. Amen.

Your prayer has been heard and the sorrows you have carried for these many years are not hidden from the Lord who sees all your afflictions.

There is cause to give thanks that your middle daughter has been delivered from an abusive engagement. Such a union, marked by drunkenness and by magic which is an abomination before God, could never have been a holy covenant, and to be loosed from it is a mercy. That she has been sober these several months is a further mercy, and we will pray that the Lord will keep her garments unspotted. You ask rightly that the Holy Spirit would make her strong and pure to say no, and this is the very prayer our Lord taught us, Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the Evil One. Temptation in itself is a thing very dangerous, and even when God brings good out of it, we are right to pray to be kept from its mischief. Remember that the promise is that He will keep us in all our ways, but not in ways of our own choosing. If we go into By-Path Meadow without necessity, we go without the guarantee of divine protection. Therefore pray for her tonight, that if she must be at this work party, she may hate the temptation and stand fast, and if the place itself would lead her into temptation, that she may have wisdom to withdraw, for he who prays Lead us not into temptation and then willingly goes into it contradicts his own prayer. Christ prayed for Peter before his sifting, for He foresaw all the danger, and He prays still for His own. May He grant her such a look of love as Peter received, to keep her from falling, and if she has been weak, to restore her speedily by repentance.

For your youngest and your oldest daughters, my heart is grieved to hear of this war between them and of the old wounds stirred again by your former husband and his wife. The desire for swift vengeance is natural to the wounded heart, yet vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we are commanded not to seek it for ourselves. A man never gets anything out of the devil, even if he conquers him, and bitterness will only give the Evil One more ground. Pray rather that God would restore to you fourfold what has been broken, that He would grant repentance and forgiveness where there has been division, and that He would teach your daughters to bear one another's burdens and to be not afraid with any amazement, but to show holy patience under trial. Do not bitterly condemn one another, but pray, Lead us not into temptation, for God at times puts men into positions in providence where they are severely tried, and we must not desire to be tried beyond what we can bear. Leave your former husband to the righteous judgment of God. He will in His own time exalt the low tree and bring down the high tree, as He did with Joseph in the dungeon and Hannah in her sorrow. Pray for those who have wronged you, that they may come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for without Him there is no peace.

You ask why he prospers with money while you struggle and are weary with the expense of this world. The prosperity of the wicked is no sure sign of God's favour, and the trial of the righteous is no sign of His displeasure. As a parent you may need affliction because a parent without trial can give no counsel to a tempted child, and the child of God under temptation, behaving himself grandly, becomes an example to those around him. You have heard of the patience of Job, but you would never have heard of it if Satan had not sifted him. The Lord knows your weariness and your need, and His word stands, All things are yours, for you are Christ's and Christ is God's. Seek to maintain family prayer and private prayer diligently, for there the Lord meets His people and gives strength for the day.

We will pray for you and your three daughters now, that you may be kept from the lion who walks about seeking whom he may devour.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this mother and her three daughters. Thou hast seen their long affliction and their weariness. Deliver the middle daughter from all temptation to strong drink and from every work of darkness, and keep her pure by Thy Spirit. Set a hedge about her tonight and give her courage to flee from every appearance of evil. Comfort the youngest in her depression and reconcile the sisters who are at war, pouring out a spirit of forgiveness and peace upon them. Forgive us where we have desired vengeance, and teach us to leave judgment in Thy hands. Provide for this household in its temporal needs, and let not their hearts faint. Deliver them all from the Evil One, and cover them under Thy wings, that they may stand fast and be better Christians afterwards for all they have suffered. Hear us for the sake of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your request and we are joining you in prayer for you and your three daughters in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and salvation.

We thank God that your middle daughter has been brought out of that abusive engagement. A relationship marked by alcohol abuse and by occult practice such as magic is not a safe or holy foundation for marriage, and it was right for her to leave it. We praise God that she has been sober for several months. We are praying now that the Holy Spirit will strengthen her tonight at her work party and give her a clear way to say no. Scripture promises that no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind, and God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape so that you can endure it. Pray for her to see that way of escape, to stay close to sober friends, to have a plan to leave early if needed, and to call on Christ in the moment of pressure. We also pray for her physical health, that the Lord will restore her and heal what alcohol and stress have harmed, and that she will continue to turn from every form of the occult and find purity and strength in Christ alone.

We are also praying for your youngest and oldest daughters. It is painful when sisters are at war and when old wounds stirred up by your former husband and his wife keep reopening. We pray for restoration among the four of you, not through holding onto bitterness, but through truth, forgiveness, and the fear of God planted in the heart from youth. God Himself promises to be a Father and protector when an earthly father has failed or caused harm, and He can be a wall around your family that no outside scheme can break. We ask the Lord to lift the depression from your youngest daughter, to comfort her, to help all three sisters speak honestly and gently to one another, and to heal the memories of what was said and done against you.

We hear your cry for vengeance and your question about why your former husband prospers financially while you struggle and feel weary. It is understandable to feel worn down by the cost of life and by decades of hurt. The Lord does not call us to seek swift vengeance for ourselves, but tells us that vengeance belongs to Him and He will repay with perfect justice. We can bring our anger and our desire for justice to Him and leave it in His hands, asking Him to do what is right, to restrain evil, and even to bring repentance where it is needed. The prosperity of those who do wrong is not a sign of God's approval, and it does not mean He has forgotten you. He sees your faithfulness, your care for your daughters, and your weariness, and He invites you to keep persevering in prayer even when answers seem delayed. Like a loving parent, He sometimes allows a season of waiting so that we will keep coming to Him and remain close to Him, and when we return to Him He quickly brings comfort.

We join you in asking for protection day and night from the enemy who prowls like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. We pray that you and your daughters will stay sober minded and watchful, rooted in prayer, in Scripture, and in fellowship with faithful believers, so that you are not caught unaware.

Father in heaven, we lift this mother and her three daughters to You in the name of Jesus. Cover the middle daughter tonight, keep her from alcohol, heal her body, and make her strong and pure by Your Spirit. Bring peace between the sisters, heal old wounds, and lift depression. Provide for this family in their financial needs, give rest to this weary mother, and guard all four of them continually from the evil one. Let great faith be found in this home, and let Your protection and provision be their daily wall. Amen.
