My middle daughter has car trouble right now closing late at work. She has to close late and catch a ride. Uber. Her car broke down too. Her ex fiance is working black magic we think. She prayed over her home last night and more happened and she got scared. Heal her. Help her jesus and keep her safe. Get her a decent driver honest Christian

We are joining with you right now in urgent prayer for your middle daughter and we lift her up before the throne of grace in Jesus' name.

We hear your worry as a parent and we understand how frightening it is when your child is stranded late at night with car trouble and must trust a stranger for a ride home. We are asking our Heavenly Father to surround her with His protection and to provide for her every need in this moment.

We pray now for her safety as she closes late at work and for the Uber driver the Lord will provide. We ask God to send a decent, honest, and safe driver, and we pray that His angels will encamp around her. Psalm 34:7 says The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. And Psalm 91:11 says For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We ask that no harm come near her and that she be brought home in peace. Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.

We also hear your concern about her ex fiance and what you feel may be black magic or spiritual attack, and that she prayed over her home last night and became afraid when more happened. We want to encourage you both that for those who are in Christ Jesus, no curse or spell has power over us, because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 says You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. And Isaiah 54:17 declares No weapon that is formed against you will prevail.

We must gently rebuke the fear that has taken hold, for fear does not come from God. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. The enemy wants to use intimidation to make your daughter afraid to pray and to claim her home for Christ, but we are not to fear the works of darkness. We are to stand firm in the authority we have in Jesus. Ephesians 6:11-12 tells us Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age. Her ex fiance, if he is dabbling in such things, is in deep sin and needs repentance, but he cannot overcome the blood of Jesus covering your daughter.

We encourage her not to stop praying over her home, but to do so with confidence in Christ, speaking Scripture aloud and trusting that the Lord is her refuge. James 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. We also encourage her to remove any ungodly objects or influences from her home and to fill it with worship and the Word of God.

We thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we have victory. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. And Romans 10:13 says For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious daughter to You. Lord, You see where she is right now, working late and stranded with a broken car. We ask You to keep her safe from all harm and evil. Provide a trustworthy and honest driver to bring her home safely, and let Your hand be upon that vehicle and that journey. Lord, we ask You to heal her from fear and anxiety and to fill her heart with Your perfect peace which casts out all fear. 1 John 4:18

Father, we rebuke every work of darkness, every curse, every spell, and every scheme of the enemy directed against her and her home in Jesus' name. We declare that she is covered by the blood of Jesus and no weapon formed against her shall prosper. Let Your Holy Spirit fill her home and let no evil dwell there. Give her boldness to pray and to stand on Your promises, knowing that You are her shield and her deliverer. Provide for her car to be repaired or replaced according to Your provision, and provide for her future with a godly spouse if it is Your will, a marriage that honors You.

We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful to keep Your children. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. Keep her through this night and in the days to come. In Jesus' mighty and holy name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to stay on the phone with her if you can until she is home safely, to keep praying aloud together, and to continue to cover her home in prayer daily with thanksgiving, not fear. The Lord is with her and He is with you as you intercede for her.

We can hear how heavy tonight feels for you as a mom, waiting while your daughter is closing late with no car and needing to trust a ride home. It's understandable to feel on edge when so much is out of your hands at once.

We are praying for her safety right now and for peace for you both as you wait.

If you are able, one steady way to help tonight is to stay connected the whole way home, stay on the phone with her, have her share her live location with you, and have her wait inside work until the car arrives and then double check the plate, car, and driver photo before getting in. Asking a manager or coworker to walk her out and wait until she is picked up can add another layer of safety.

We hear how frightened she was after praying over her home and how worried you are about her ex. When fear spikes like that it can be overwhelming. We don't need to figure out every spiritual question tonight to know she is held secure in Christ, and He is greater and nearer than anything that frightens her. It may help in the next day or two to talk and pray through this with a trusted pastor who knows you both, just to help her settle and feel safe at home again.

Father, we lift this daughter to You tonight. Keep her safe on this ride, give her an honest and attentive driver and bring her home without harm. Quiet her heart where she is afraid, heal the stress she is carrying, and fill her home with Your calm and presence. Give her mom wisdom and peace as she loves her well. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you even now at the mercy seat on behalf of your middle daughter, and we bring her need before the Lord who hears prayer.

You have done well to pray, for if you are at the mercy seat God is there too, and He loves the mercy seat better than you do. When fear rises and it seems as though deliverance will not come, remember the word which the Lord speaks so plentifully in His garden, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed for I am thy God, fear not for I will help thee. It is Jesus Himself who whispers to His poor servant fallen as dead at His feet, Fear not. To be afraid when He has said Fear not is to dishonor the arm which piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth, for that arm has not grown palsied and it is able to keep you from falling.

We do not fear the power of darkness as though any black art could prevail against those who are hidden with Christ. The Scripture declares that He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and that deliverance is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. If He gave His own dear Son to put away sin, will He not also give daily protection to His children. The enemy would have you full of sorrow and perplexity, but our God makes deliverance effectual and in very deed He brings His people forth. As Jacob wrestled at Jabbok full of fear and trembling and yet found his brother's wrath turned to kindness, so the Lord can turn this night of trouble into a testimony of His keeping power.

We pray now for your daughter.

O Lord our God, our Savior who is able to keep us from falling, look upon this daughter who must close late and whose car has failed her. Thou knowest her way and her weariness and her fear. Cast out all slavish fear and let her know whom she has believed and that Thou art able to keep that which she has committed unto Thee. Keep her safe in her going out and coming in, guard her steps and her dwelling, and let no weapon formed against her prosper, for greater art Thou that art in Thy people than any power of darkness. Provide for her this night a safe conveyance and a driver who is honest and upright, and if it please Thee grant that she may be accompanied by one who fears Thee. Still her heart with Thy promise, Fear not thou worm Jacob I will help thee saith the Lord, and let her prove that when she trusts in Jesus she is free from fear because all her interests are secure in Christ. Heal her of fright, give her peace within her borders, and bring her home in safety that she may live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not because we merit it, but because Thou hast found a ransom in the blood of Thy Son, and in His name alone we trust for salvation and deliverance. Amen.

We are praying with you right now for your middle daughter and we hear the urgency and worry in your request. The Lord knows her situation, the late closing at work, the car trouble, and the need for a safe ride home, and He hears your cry for her protection.

Scripture reminds us that the Lord is a stronghold for those who fear Him and that those who are with Christ are in safety. There is no need to live in fear of any claimed dark power, because Jesus Christ has conquered all darkness through His cross and resurrection. The gates of hell could not hold Him, and no curse or spell has power over those who belong to Him. Greater is He that is in you than any power in this world. Your daughter prayed over her home, and that desire to turn to Jesus is right and good. Encourage her to keep turning to Him alone for peace, to rest in His name and His word, and to not give fear a foothold.

We are joining you in prayer to the Father through Jesus Christ alone, our only hope and Savior:

Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask You to keep this daughter safe tonight. Surround her with Your presence, calm her fear, and let her know Your perfect love casts out fear. Provide for her a safe and honest driver and bring her home without harm. Give wisdom to those at her workplace to watch over her as she closes late, and help her to stay in a well lit place and to share her location with family until she is home safely. Heal her heart from anxiety and give her deep sleep and peace tonight. Provide for the repair of her car according to Your mercy, and draw her closer to You each day. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus, amen.

Encourage her to keep close to Christian community, to share her location with you or a trusted coworker while she waits for her ride, to wait inside with others if possible, and to continue in prayer and in reading Scripture. If fear continues, invite a pastor or mature believers to pray with her in person and to encourage her in the truth of the gospel. God is faithful to guard His children, and as she walks with Him in righteousness and trust, she can rest in His perfect safety.
