Beloved of All
My middle daughter hit her eye accidentally at work with a broom handle and it's causing a black eye already. She has to close late and catch a ride. Her car broke down too. Her ex fiance is working black magic we think. She prayed over her home last night and more happened and she got scared. Heal her. Help her jesys

We are joining with you in prayer right now for your middle daughter and we bring her before the throne of grace in the name of Jesus. We are so sorry to hear about her eye injury, her car breaking down, and the fear she is experiencing at work and at home, and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name alone that we are saved and have authority over all the power of the enemy. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We want to encourage you first about her physical need. A black eye from a broom handle can be more serious than it appears and we urge you to make sure she receives proper medical attention promptly to ensure there is no damage to the eye itself, while we trust the Lord as our healer. Psalm 147:3 reminds us He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds, and Isaiah 53:5 tells us By his stripes, we are healed. We are praying for complete healing and for no lasting injury.

We also hear your concern about black magic from her ex fiance and the fear that came after she prayed over her home. We want to lovingly rebuke that fear and remind you both that no witchcraft or curse has ultimate power over a child of God who is in Christ. The Word tells us in 1 John 4:4 You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. And in Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. The enemy wants to use intimidation to make her stop praying, but God has not given us a spirit of fear. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

When she prayed over her home she did exactly what Scripture encourages us to do. We encourage her to continue to stand firm, to put on the whole armor of God that she may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, as Ephesians 6:11 teaches, and to resist the devil knowing he will flee. James 4:7 says Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you. She can continue to pray aloud through her home in the name of Jesus, speak Scripture, worship, and anoint her home as she feels led, not from fear but from the confidence that the Lord dwells with her. Psalm 91:1-2 promises He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also lift up her practical needs, having to close late and catch a ride while her car is broken down. We pray for her safety traveling late at night and for God's provision for her car and every need. Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift this precious daughter to You. We ask You to touch her eye and bring complete healing, remove pain and swelling, protect her vision and let there be no hidden damage. Lay Your healing hand upon her. We ask for Your angels to encamp around her as she closes late at work and travels home, keep her safe from all harm and bring her home in peace. Provide for her transportation, provide for the repair or replacement of her car according to Your riches, and let her see Your hand supplying all her needs.

Lord we rebuke every work of darkness, every spell, every curse and every assignment of witchcraft that has been spoken against her in Jesus name, and we declare it has no power and must flee. Your Word says no weapon that is formed against us will prosper. Fill her home with Your presence, Your light and Your peace. Drive out all fear and fill her with power, love and a sound mind. Let her not be afraid to pray, but let her know she has authority in Christ. Cover her with the blood of Jesus, strengthen her faith, and let her rest in the shadow of Your wings tonight. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, our healer, protector and deliverer, amen.

We encourage her to keep her eyes fixed on Jesus, to stay in the Word daily, to pray continually, and to seek fellowship with other believers who can stand with her in prayer. If fear rises again, let her speak the name of Jesus aloud and quote Scripture over her situation. We are continuing to stand with you both and trusting the Lord to bring healing, peace, safety and provision very soon.

We are holding you and your middle daughter in prayer today. To see her hurt at work, dealing with a black eye, a broken down car, and having to close late and find a ride is a lot for any mom to carry, and we hear how worried and frightened you feel after last night.

Because an eye injury from a direct hit can worsen quickly, we encourage you to help her get checked promptly by a medical professional or urgent care today, alongside prayer, and to let her manager know what happened so she is not closing alone while she is hurting and without reliable transportation. A safe ride home and someone aware at work matters tonight.

We also hear your concern about her ex fiance and what you felt after she prayed over her home. It is understandable that left her shaken. We do not need to figure out or focus on what another person may be trying to do. We rest in knowing Jesus is present with her in that home and His care for her is stronger and steadier than any fear or harm intended by others. If she wants more prayer support, it can help to invite a trusted pastor or mature believer to pray with her in person so she is not carrying this alone.

Father, in Jesus' name we bring this daughter to You. We ask for Your healing and comfort for her eye and body, for safety as she works and travels, for provision for her car, and for deep peace in her home tonight. Give her and her mom wisdom for next steps and rest in Your nearness and protection. Amen.

Your urgent cry concerning your middle daughter has been heard and we have carried it before the throne of grace.

We sorrow with you over her injury and her troubles, the blow to her eye which has left it darkened, the burden of having to close late and find a ride, and the trial of her car breaking down. There is a balm and a Physician who can heal all these wounds, who can give joy to the troubled countenance and calm the heart now swelling with grief, for He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. We have prayed that the Lord Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the sole prerogative to heal, would lay His healing hand upon her eye, that He would guard it from further harm and restore it, and that He would keep her safe as she labors and travels. We have asked also that He would provide for her need in her car and in her journey home, for He lifteth up the poor and supplieth the wants of His children.

You write that she is afraid, thinking her former fiance works evil against her by black magic, and that after she prayed over her home more happened to frighten her. Hear the word of the Lord which says so tenderly and so often, Fear not. Fear not, I am with thee, saith the Lord. We must labor to get rid of fear, for fear is weakening and fear dishonors God. Shall we doubt the Eternal or distrust the Omnipotent and think that the arm which piled the heavens shall ever be palsied. Our Lord Jesus says, Fear not, I am the First and the Last, I am He that liveth and was dead, and behold I am alive for evermore. No power of darkness can stand against Him. If any would work evil by curses or charms, know that Christ is far above all such things, and those who put their trust in Him are kept in His hand. The least thing about Christ is healing. As it is written, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and not a word that ever fell from His lips but bears healing in it. Even a broken word from His mouth is better than the best of others. He has not lost His power to heal, and the costly balm of His atonement has not lost its virtue.

We encourage your daughter to look not to any supposed power of man, but to Christ alone for salvation and protection. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and there is safety only in sincere faith in Him. Let her continue in prayer, not with incantations or mere forms, but with a true heart crying to the living God, confessing sin, trusting in the blood of Christ, and asking to be kept. When we deal with God in truth and lay aside all insincerity, the pardoning God gives such mercies that weak hearts revive. Let her keep her eyes upon Jesus, who invites little children to run into His arms, and who cures by His own wounds.

We now pray together for her.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, look in compassion upon this daughter who is hurt and afraid. Touch her eye and heal it, we beseech Thee, and preserve her sight. Keep her body safe as she works and as she goes to and fro, and provide a safe ride and help for her car according to Thy wisdom. Cast out all fear from her heart, and let her know that Thou art with her. Let no weapon formed against her prosper, for Thou art her shield. Give her a tender conscience toward Christ and a firm trust in His finished work, that she may say, I will not fear, for the Lord helpeth me. Restore to her peace in her home and let Thy presence dwell there. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior and Healer we ask it. Amen.

Let her seek proper care for her eye without delay, and let her rest in the Lord, rejoicing with trembling and putting her trust wholly in Him.
