We join with you in lifting up your youngest daughter before the throne of grace and we hear the urgency and love in your heart for her.

We thank God for the calling she is pursuing in nursing school, which is a work of compassion and service, and we pray the Lord will strengthen her hands and mind for all that is required of her. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray she will be able to commit her works to Yahweh, and her plans will be established Proverbs 16:3, that He will give her focus, retention, and endurance as she studies and serves.

We also lift up her safety as she drives, especially when she is weary and has had little sleep. We understand the pressure she is under, but we encourage her to steward the body God has given her with wisdom, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Driving without sleep is very dangerous, and we pray the Lord will give her wisdom to make safe choices, to rest when possible, and to ask for help when she is overwhelmed. We pray for His protection over every mile. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8.

We hear your cry for Jesus to keep her and to heal her mind from trauma and past relationships, and we stand with you for her complete healing. We pray the Lord will cover her 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, just as you said, for He is our refuge. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2. We pray He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3, and that He will replace anxiety and painful memories with His perfect peace. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We also pray concerning those past relationships that have left wounds. We know that intimacy outside of God's design for marriage between a man and a woman often brings deep trauma and confusion to the heart and mind, for God created relationships to be pure and committed within the covenant of marriage. We pray the Lord will wash away any shame, heal any hurt caused by fornication or ungodly attachments, and restore her understanding of her worth in Christ. We pray if she pursues a relationship in the future it will be a courtship with a fellow believer with the goal of godly marriage that honors Him, and that she will know she is fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by her Father. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We pray too for your relationship with her, that the Lord will draw you closer together so you can support and encourage her as her mother. We ask God to open gentle doors for communication and trust, and to let your love and prayers be a covering over her even when you cannot be physically present.

Father, we lift this precious daughter to You in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to Your throne. We ask You to keep her safe on the road and in her coming and going, to grant her supernatural strength and clarity for her studies, to heal her mind from all trauma and to renew her thoughts with Your truth, to cover her with the blood of Jesus day and night, and to draw her closer to You and to her mother. Give her rest, give her wisdom to not drive when she is too weary, and let her feel Your presence as her constant protector. Let her know that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You have plans for her hope and future. We trust her into Your loving hands and thank You for hearing our prayer in Jesus' mighty name, amen.

We hear how much you love your youngest daughter and how heavy this season feels for both of you. Nursing school asks so much of her, and we understand your worry watching her push through on little sleep while also needing to drive, and carrying hurts from past relationships.

It makes sense you long to be closer so you can help more directly. That closeness often grows best when we let her tell us what kind of help actually feels helpful right now, without pressure. You might ask her gently what would lighten her load most this week, whether it's a ride when she's exhausted, a meal, help with an errand, or just a quiet place to rest, and talk together about a simple plan for getting to and from school safely when she is running on no sleep. If the trauma from past relationships still weighs on her mind, continuing to pray with her and encouraging her to talk with a trusted counselor or pastor when she is ready can be a steady support alongside prayer.

We are joining you in prayer for her and for you as her mom.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this daughter to You. Keep her as she studies and travels, give her wisdom in managing her days and nights, and bring healing and peace to her mind. Draw her and her mom closer in understanding and trust, and cover them both with Your care day and night. Amen.

Your earnest plea for your youngest daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the throne of grace.

We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ, our great Physician, will be her covering and her keeper every hour of the day and night. There is an abundance of healing power in Him, not only His fruit but even the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing to the wounded spirit. May He pour that healing virtue into her mind and memory, to wash away trauma and to cleanse and restore her from the wounds of past relationships. We ask that pardon and healing, which are placed in happy conjunction in the gospel, would both be hers through faith in Christ alone, for when the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings, forgiveness and restoration come as one.

We ask the Lord to give her strength and clarity for the great burden of nursing school, to steady her hands and her thoughts for the work set before her, and to grant her diligence and wisdom in her studies. We pray also for her safety as she drives there and back, especially when wearied and lacking sleep. May the Lord in His mercy preserve her on the road, grant her prudence to seek needful rest when she is able, and keep her from all harm.

We pray too for that which lies upon your heart as a mother, that the Lord would draw her closer to you in love and trust, that you may be a comfort and help to her, and that your home may be a place of peace and godly counsel. May He make you both to know more deeply that we all need the covering of Jesus without ceasing, for apart from Him we have no shelter and no hope.

We commend her and you to Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, beseeching Him to keep you both in His perfect care and to make His grace sufficient for each day.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, who bears with Him power to heal and to save. Amen.
