Beloved of All
My youngest daughter has a lot to do for nursing school. Help her do well and be safe driving there and back on no sleep jesus keep her heal her Mind from trauma and past relationships. Bring her closer to me so I can help.

We join you in lifting up your youngest daughter before the throne of grace and we share your burden for her as she carries the heavy load of nursing school. We understand the worry of a parent watching a child drive exhausted and we bring all of this to Jesus together, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name we find mercy and help in time of need. Acts 4:12 reminds us there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and John 14:6 shows us Jesus is the way to the Father, so we are thankful you called upon Him.

We pray for her safety and for wisdom in how she stewards her body and her responsibilities. Driving without sleep is very dangerous and does not honor the body God has given us to care for. We ask the Lord to protect her on every journey, as Psalm 121:7-8 promises that the Lord will keep us from all evil and will keep our going out and our coming in, yet we also encourage her to seek godly wisdom in her scheduling, to not tempt the Lord by taking unnecessary risks, and to ask for help when she is too tired to drive safely, whether that means resting, adjusting her hours, or asking you or others for assistance. Psalm 127:2 teaches us that it is vain to rise up early and stay up late without rest, for He gives sleep to His beloved, and Matthew 11:28 invites those who are weary and burdened to come to Jesus for rest. We pray she will learn to cast her anxiety on Him because He cares for her, as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and that she will experience the peace that surpasses understanding guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We also lift up her mind and heart for healing from trauma and past relationships. The Lord sees what has wounded her and He is the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. He has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and we pray He will renew her mind daily, Romans 12:2, and help her dwell on whatever is true, honorable, just, pure, and praiseworthy, Philippians 4:8. If any of those past relationships involved intimacy outside of marriage, we gently speak the truth in love that God calls us to flee from fornication, 1 Corinthians 6:18, and to honor marriage as held in honor among all with the bed undefiled, Hebrews 13:4. What the world calls dating or a relationship, Scripture calls us to view as courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ, 2 Corinthians 6:14. We pray that any sin would be brought into the light, confessed, and forgiven through the blood of Jesus, 1 John 1:9, and that she would be set free from shame and trauma to walk in purity and wholeness, seeking a godly spouse in God's timing if it is His will for her to marry, rather than repeating cycles of hurt.

For her studies we pray for diligence, clarity, and wisdom. James 1:5 promises that if anyone lacks wisdom, they should ask God who gives generously without reproach. We pray she will commit her work to the Lord as Proverbs 16:3 instructs, doing all as unto the Lord, Colossians 3:23, trusting not in her own strength but acknowledging Him in all her ways so He will direct her paths, Proverbs 3:5-6. We ask for strength when she is weak, for Isaiah 41:10 assures us that God will strengthen and uphold us with His righteous right hand.

We also pray for your relationship with her, that the Lord would draw you closer together so you can support and encourage her in a way that honors Him. We pray for open communication, grace, and mutual honor, remembering the promise and call to honor family ties.

Father, we come before You together in Jesus' name for this precious daughter and her mother who loves her so deeply. Lord, place Your hand of protection over her as she travels, keep her alert and safe, and grant her wisdom to rest when she needs rest and to not drive when she is exhausted. Heal her mind from every trauma and painful memory from past relationships, wash away guilt and shame with Your forgiveness, renew her thoughts, and give her Your perfect peace. Restore joy and hope to her heart, help her to forgive as You have forgiven, and lead her in purity and truth for the future. Bless the work of her hands in nursing school, give her understanding, retention, and endurance to do well for Your glory, and equip her to be a compassionate caregiver to others. Draw mother and daughter closer together in love, understanding, and godly counsel, and let Your will be done in both of their lives. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect love and wisdom, for You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose, Romans 8:28. In the mighty and merciful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We hear the weight you are carrying for your youngest daughter. Nursing school asks so much, and when you add little sleep, long drives, and old hurts that still linger, it is understandable you would feel anxious and want to draw her closer.

We are praying with you for her safety on the road, for clarity and stamina in her studies, and for gentle healing in her mind and heart from what she has been through. It is a good and loving desire to want to be closer so you can support her well.

One simple next step that often helps is to ask her what kind of help actually feels helpful right now. A brief, low pressure check in like, I am proud of you and I am here, would a ride, a meal, or quiet study time at home make this week easier, can open the door without adding pressure. If she is open, you might also encourage her to connect with a trusted counselor or campus support for the trauma she carries, alongside prayer, so she has steady support as she heals.

Father in Jesus name we lift this daughter to You. Keep her safe as she travels, give her rest and focus for her work, and bring healing to her mind and heart. Draw her and her mother closer in love and understanding, and give them wisdom for each next step. Amen.

Your burden for your youngest daughter has been heard and we carry it with you to the throne of grace.

There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture saith, the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, but even the leaves, the little touches of His grace, are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. And we are told that pardon and healing are one, for when Jesus healed He said, thy sins are forgiven thee. So we look not to any other physician, but to Christ alone, who is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

We pray now for your daughter. May the Lord keep her in her going out and coming in, and set His hand about her as she drives to and from her studies, especially when her body is weary and she has had no sleep. May He be her keeper and give her safety upon the road. May He grant her a clear mind and a steady hand for the great work set before her in nursing school, and help her to study with diligence and to do all things as unto Him. We ask the Lord to heal her mind from trauma and from the wounds of past relationships, to wash away what has broken the heart, and to make her whole by His own pardoning and healing hand. That healing which He alone can give must come before all true service, and we pray He would grant it fully, forgiving sin and binding up the brokenhearted, that she may be restored and made fresh in Him.

We pray also for reconciliation between you and her. He is the God of peace who has prepared everything necessary for perfect reconciliation, and has committed unto us the word of reconciliation, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. May the Holy Spirit work that reconciliation in your home, drawing her closer to you in love and truth, that you may help her and bear her burdens with wisdom and patience. As one of old said, lay her at His feet and leave her in His presence. Bring her daily before Jesus with importunate prayer and trust Him to look upon her.

Cast your care upon Him, for He careth for you. He who has begun a good work will perfect it till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. May you rest in His protection and find that holy patience which trusts God to keep His own under His wings.
