Thank you for sharing your heart for your youngest daughter. We are joining you in prayer for her and we bring her needs before Jesus together with you.
God sees and deeply values your daughter. In the Scriptures there were times when culture did not value daughters, but the Lord has always shown that every daughter is precious to Him. He knows her by name, He sees her diligence in her studies, and He hears the desire she expressed through fasting for a godly life.
We also hear your concern about how hard she is being driven right now. Scripture gives a picture of a father who understood that children are weak and that those who are nursing cannot be driven hard for long without harm, and so he chose to lead them at a gentle pace that they could sustain. Your daughter is carrying a heavy load with daily nursing school, little sleep, and early travel. We are praying that the Lord will give her wisdom to find a sustainable pace, that He will guard her body and mind from exhaustion, and that He will provide the rest and renewal she needs to continue faithfully. The Lord who sees the little children fainting from hunger and thirst in the streets is the same Lord who is moved with compassion for the weary, and His healing can reach a breach that feels as great as the sea.
We are praying specifically for her safety as she drives in the dark both ways and as she parks and walks while it is still dark. We ask the Lord to keep His hand of protection over her, to keep her alert on the road, and to surround her with safety as she comes and goes. We pray that He will watch over her coming in and going out.
We also lift up her mind and soul to Jesus for healing and strength. We thank God for her hunger for a godly life and for her trust in Him for financial provision, physical health, and mental health. God honors a heart that seeks Him first, and we ask Him to strengthen her inner life, to fill her with peace that guards her thoughts, to supply what she needs financially, and to sustain her health as she serves and studies.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift this daughter to You in the name of Jesus. Keep her safe on the road and in every place she walks in darkness. Give her rest, clear thought, and strength for her studies. Heal and restore her mind and soul, deepen her walk with You, and make her life fruitful for Your glory. Provide for her needs, protect her health, and let her know daily that she is loved and kept by You. Give her parents peace as they entrust her to Your care. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our healer and shepherd, amen.
