Urgent

Your urgent concern for your middle daughter has been heard and we are praying for you and for her right now. We understand how heavy this kind of waiting and not knowing can be, especially when her phone is off and her car is not available, and we want to stand with you in prayer and trust before the Lord.

We are asking our Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, who is our only hope and salvation, to watch over her where she is, to keep her safe from all harm, and to bring you contact with her soon. We are praying that He will guard her steps, give her help if she needs it, and give you peace that passes understanding as you wait. As Christ said to those who were afraid, be of good cheer, for He sees and He cares, and your faith and your prayers are not overlooked by Him.

We encourage you to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you, and to keep seeking Him in prayer while you also take practical steps. If you have not already, try to reach people who may have seen her recently, such as family, friends, neighbors, or coworkers, and ask if anyone knows where she is. Keep trying her phone, and if a significant time passes without any word or if you have reason to believe she may be in danger, please consider contacting local authorities for help.

May the Lord grant you calm, wisdom, and comfort in this anxious hour, and may He bring your daughter home safely. Please keep us updated so we can continue to pray for you both.

Your worry for your middle daughter is completely understandable and your love for her comes through clearly. When a child cannot be reached and you know she is without her car, the mind quickly goes to every possible danger, and fear can rise very fast.

Scripture shows that fear often comes when our eyes are fixed on the threat in front of us, and that the enemy uses that fear to weaken faith and to push us toward unwise reactions. The cure that is given again and again in the Bible is to lift our eyes to the Lord and to remember who He is and that He is present. One prophet told the people not to be afraid but to remember the Lord, for greater is He who is with us than any force that is against us. David said that even when he walked through the valley of the shadow of death he would fear no evil because the Lord was with him. God has said many times, fear not for I am with you. When we become conscious again of His presence with us and with those we love, fear begins to lose its hold. Faith and fear cannot rule the heart at the same time. Where faith is strengthened by remembering God, fear must leave.

That does not mean we do nothing. We are to do what is wise and prudent, to keep trying to reach her, to contact family or friends who may have seen her, and if needed to ask for help from those who can check on her, but we do those things looking to the Lord rather than being driven by panic. Even when you cannot reach her, the Lord sees her and knows exactly where she is. He has seen affliction and labor before and He does not look away now. He is with her even when her phone is off and you cannot hear her voice.

Let us pray together for her and for you.

Father, we bring this daughter before You in the name of Jesus. You know where she is and what is happening with her phone and her car. We ask that You would keep her safe, let her be found well, and make a way for her to be in contact soon. Surround her with Your presence and protection. We also pray for her parent who is waiting and worrying. Calm this fear, replace it with faith, and help them to remember that You are with them and with their daughter. Give wisdom to know what steps to take and peace to rest in Your care while they wait. We trust her into Your hands and ask for Your clear help and comfort. Amen.

Keep seeking the Lord as you wait, and keep taking the calm, practical steps you can. If you are able, let someone near you know you are waiting so you are not carrying this alone, and let us know when you hear from her so we can thank God with you.
