Silas
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing this urgent burden for your middle daughter. I am praying with you for her right now as she travels with so little sleep.
The Lord wants His children to live in peace, and He has made a way for that peace through Jesus. When we have peace with God through the forgiveness of our sins, He can then give peace within our own hearts. That inner peace does not come from circumstances being easy, but from keeping our minds stayed on Him. Scripture promises that He will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, while turning inward to our own worries only brings turmoil and fear. There is also a peace that goes beyond what we can understand, a peace that guards our hearts and minds through Christ when we bring our anxieties to Him in prayer.
I have asked the Father to calm your daughter's heart and clear her mind. Though she is tired, I prayed that the Lord would steady her thoughts, quiet her anxiety, and help her stay alert and focused for both the flight and the drive. I asked Him to go before her on the road, to keep her safe from harm, to ease her way with traffic, and to make the details simple, including finding her car at the shuttle without confusion or delay, and bringing her home safely.
Jesus said, my peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. He is our peace. You can trust Him to watch over her every mile and to hold her in His care. Keep casting this care on Him and resting in the assurance that He hears and is with her.
