We join you together in prayer in Jesus' name for your youngest daughter and for your whole household on this important and busy day.

We lift up your daughter as she begins her midterms for nursing school so early in the morning. What a noble calling she is pursuing, to bring healing and care to others. We pray the Lord will grant her clarity of mind, recall, and peace as she takes these exams. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 and God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 We pray that self-control and sound mind will rest on her, that anxiety would be replaced with confidence in the preparation she has done, and that she will commit her work to the Lord. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3

We also bring before the Lord your concern for her safety driving there and back on very little sleep in a busy city, and for the lady who needs protection around the clock. We share your concern about driving without sleep, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are called to steward them well. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 While we trust the Lord as our keeper, we also encourage wise choices where possible, such as allowing extra time, staying alert, and seeking help for a ride or rest if drowsiness becomes strong, because Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 We pray Psalm 46:1 over you both, that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and over your daughter and this lady, Fear not, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is in His name we have access to the Father and it is in His name we are saved and heard. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We cast all our cares on Him because He cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for this daughter and for the gift of nursing You have placed in her heart. Touch her mind and body this morning, grant her rest even in short sleep, heal any weariness or sickness, and let her thoughts be clear and calm as she tests. Guide her hands on the road, keep her alert and safe going and returning, and place Your angels around her vehicle in the busy city traffic. We place this lady who needs protection 24 hours a day into Your hands, cover her with Your presence day and night, and let no harm come near her. Lord, we ask You to help this family with everything, as You have promised to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Give them a beautiful day in You. This is the day that Yahweh has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 Let Your peace rule in their home and Your joy be their strength. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We are holding you and your ### before the Lord today. We can hear how early this morning feels and how much you want her to be clear headed for her nursing midterms and safe on the roads there and back, especially running on so little sleep. It is a lot to carry when you are also asking for protection in a busy city and for a beautiful day for your family.

For today, one small way we can love her well is to make the driving as safe as possible. If there is any way to have another driver take her, or to have her text when she leaves and arrives and allow extra time so she does not feel rushed, that extra margin can help when she is tired. And when she is home, helping her get real rest will matter more than anything else you could do for her next exam.

We also hear your prayer for the lady who needs protection around the clock. We are asking God to watch over her today and to give you peace as you trust Him with each person you love.

Father, we lift this daughter to You as she takes her midterms, ask for clarity and steadiness for her and safety on every mile there and back. Cover this family and this lady in the city with Your protection today, and give this parent Your calm and strength. In Jesus name, amen.

Your urgent burden for your youngest daughter and for your household has been brought before the Lord and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.

We ask our heavenly Father to spread His shelter over your daughter as she goes forth to her midterms. He who covers His people with His feathers and under whose wings we may trust is able to give not only protection from danger but a sense of comfort and home beneath the shadow of the Almighty. We pray that He will keep her alert and steady though she has had little sleep, that He will guard her going out and her coming in on the busy roads of the city, and that He will grant her clarity of mind, remembrance of all she has studied, and a calm spirit as she does her work.

We also lift before Him your plea for constant protection in the city and for the lady who needs keeping day and night. The Scripture tells us He shall give His angels charge over His children to keep them in all their ways, and this protection is both personal and perpetual. Where you think you are perfectly safe you may still need His keeping, and where danger seems near His watch does not fail. We pray that you would know that nearness to the Shepherd which makes the sheep most safe, resting beneath the wings of the eternal God.

We ask that you may not venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, for each hour is safe when God has made it so, and each place of difficulty and of danger is secure to those who walk in His way. May the good Captain of Providence who has forearranged all things guide your steps this day, preserve you amidst its hurry, bring healing where healing is needed, and grant you by His grace a beautiful day ordered by His hand.

We commit all these things, and everything that lies upon your heart, to the Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name alone we have access to the throne of grace, trusting that amidst every care we shall be safe and near our God. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
