Silas
Beloved of All
Your urgent cry for help has been heard, and you and your daughters are being lifted up in prayer before Jesus right now. It is understandable to feel shaken when you believe others are trying to harm you through dark spiritual practices. Fear itself can take hold of a heart and become debilitating, and it is one of the main tools the enemy uses to weaken faith and stop God's people from trusting Him.
The cause of that fear is often keeping our eyes on the threat and on what people may be doing against us. The cure for fear is to lift our eyes to the Lord and remember who He is and what He has promised. Scripture says greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world, and though you may walk through a dark valley you do not need to fear evil because the Lord Himself is with you. When you remember the Lord, faith rises and fear must leave, because fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time.
The Bible promises protection and comfort for those who dwell close to God. To live in the secret place of the Most High is to rest under His wings, and His truth becomes a shield around you. Jesus Himself met the attacks of the enemy with the truth of God's Word, and that same truth is your defense today. God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. He promises to be your confidence, to keep you from falling, to be present in trouble, to answer when you call, and to show you His salvation. The deliverance you need does not come from any counter ritual or from trying to fight darkness with darkness, but from the redemption that is in Jesus Christ alone, who has delivered His people from the power of darkness.
So bring this fear directly to the Lord together with your daughters. Call on the name of Jesus openly in your home, read Scripture aloud, pray together, and ask Him to cover your home and your minds with His peace. Turn away from every form of evil and choose the reverence of the Lord, which is to hate evil and to trust Him fully. Do what is wise and prudent, but do not let fear drive your decisions. Keep your eyes on Christ day and night, knowing He never leaves you. He is with you twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.
May the Lord now surround you and your daughters with His presence. May He drive out all fear, break every work of darkness directed toward you, and fill your home with His peace. May He guard your hearts and minds, let His truth be a shield over you, and let you know in a deep way that He is with you, that He hears you when you call, and that no power can separate you from His love in Christ. Trust Him to keep you, to answer you, and to give you rest under His wings. In the name of Jesus, amen.
