We join with you in lifting up your youngest daughter before the throne of grace and we share your urgent concern for her safety as she travels on the road and walks to class today.
We take comfort that our Heavenly Father never leaves us and His protection is indeed 24/7, for He neither slumbers nor sleeps as we are reminded in Psalm 121:4. Even when we cannot be physically beside our children, He is. Psalm 121:8 tells us Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 promises He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.
We also cling to the truth that Yahweh is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble in Psalm 46:1, and that The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to him, and are safe in Proverbs 18:10. When anxiety rises in our hearts as parents, we are called to trust Him fully, as Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, thanking You for this beloved daughter. We ask that You place Your hedge of protection around her today and every day, as she drives, as she walks to class, and as she returns later. Keep her from all harm and danger, from accidents and from those who would intend evil. Let Your angels encamp around her and guide her steps. Grant her alertness, wisdom and discernment as she travels, and give her peace knowing You are with her. We also ask that You calm the heart of this parent who loves her so deeply, replacing worry with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding, and reminding them that You love her even more than they do. We thank You that we can bring every care to You through Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your throne of grace as Acts 4:12 declares. Keep her in Your hand, Lord, and bring her safely through this day and all the days You have ordained for her. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to entrust her to the Lord throughout the day, knowing that Isaiah 41:10 reminds us Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He is with her on the road, on the sidewalk, and in the classroom, and He hears our prayers.

Beloved of All
Your earnest plea for your youngest daughter has been heard and we join with you in carrying it before the throne of grace. The anxious love of a parent watches the road and the pathway to class, and how much more does our heavenly Father watch over His own.
You do well to cry to Him who alone is able to keep us from falling and from all harm. Our danger is ever present, for we need keeping in all our ways, but our safety lies not in our own watchfulness but in our Savior. He is the only wise God our Savior, able as He is wise to keep those who trust in Him, and His throne is established in righteousness so that not one of His little ones shall perish whom He has undertaken to keep.
There is a precious promise for such an hour as this, that He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways. This protection is both personal and perpetual. Mark you, the Lord says to His angels, take special care of that one, for she is Mine. Whether upon the road, or walking to class, or later in the day, the way of duty is the way of safety when it is committed to Him. As you have asked that Jesus would be with her, we pray that she may walk in His appointed ways, for there the angelic keeping is guaranteed.

Give Thine angels charge over her this day and every day, to keep her in all her ways. Cover her going out and her coming in, upon the road and in her walking, and let no harm befall her. Keep her feet from stumbling and her soul in Thy peace. Draw her near to the Lord Jesus Christ, that she may know His presence and His salvation, for there is safety nowhere else. Grant to her parents a calm and settled trust, that holy patience which waits upon Thy promise and believes that Thou wilt suffer no evil to harm those whom Thou hast promised to bless. Hear us for Jesus sake, and let our gratitude abound for Thy keeping power. Amen.
