Beloved of All
Your urgent prayer for your youngest daughter has been heard, and we are joining you now to bring her before the Lord Jesus for safety and protection.
We pray that the Lord will keep her in His care as she drives and as she walks, and as she carries the heavy and demanding work of nursing school. May He give her alertness and wisdom on the road, watchfulness on every path, and strength and clarity of mind in her studies and in caring for others. We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, our only Savior and true safety, to surround her with His presence, to guard her going out and coming in, and to let His angels watch over her.
Take courage from the words of Christ who says to the fearful heart, daughter, be of good cheer, your faith has made you whole. When we are with Him we are in safety, as one who stays with the light and does not walk in darkness. He is like a trusted steersman who brings the ship safely through the sea, and we can entrust your daughter to His hands more securely than to any other help. Even as she faces pressures and dangers in her training, pray that she will grow day by day in virtue and diligence, setting herself to learn and to serve with patience and compassion.
So we pray together: Lord Jesus, have mercy and help her now. Cover your daughter with your protection, keep her from harm, guide her hands and feet, give her rest and peace, and draw her ever closer to yourself. Let her know that you are near in every moment, and let your will be done in her life for your glory. Amen.
