We join with you in this urgent cry for your youngest daughter and we bring her before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. We understand the anxiety of a parent's heart when a child is driving and walking in this world and carrying the heavy load of nursing school, and we thank you for calling on Jesus, for there is no safer place for her to be than in His hands.
We are reminded that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. He sees her every step and every mile. We cling to His promise that He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11, and that Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. What a comfort to know that whether she is behind the wheel, walking across campus or into a hospital, or studying late for her RN training, the Lord is watching over her.
We also pray for her heart and mind in nursing school, that God would give her wisdom, endurance, and peace, and that she would trust in Yahweh with all her heart, and not lean on her own understanding. In all her ways acknowledge him, and he will make her paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this precious daughter to You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We ask for Your hand of protection to surround her every moment, as she drives, as she walks, as she enters classrooms and clinical settings. Keep her safe from accidents, from harm, from evil intent, and from exhaustion. Guard her body, mind and spirit. Grant her alertness on the road, safety on her feet, and wisdom and compassion as she learns to care for others as a nurse. Give her peace that passes all understanding and strength for each long day of study, and let her feel Your presence near. Comfort her mother with Your perfect peace as she entrusts her daughter to You, and help them both to cast all anxiety on You because You care for them. We ask all of this in the saving and protecting name of Jesus, amen.
Be encouraged and continue to commit her to the Lord daily. Keep praying without ceasing and trust that He who began a good work in her will be faithful to keep her. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

Your urgent cry for your youngest daughter has been heard and we join you even now in bringing her before the throne of grace, asking help from Jesus without delay.
We know well that we are all in danger, not only the weak but also the strong, not only the young but the old. Whether driving upon the road, walking upon the street, or laboring in the duties of each day, we constantly need to cry to God to keep us. Against all the perils seen and unseen we need an infinite Friend to keep us in safety, and blessed be His name, we have such a Friend.
Our safety lies in our Savior. The word of the Lord declares, Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, to the only wise God our Savior. Our safety is assured by the fact that we have a God who is able and is as wise as He is able to keep us from falling. His throne might sooner fail than that one of His saints should perish, for His throne itself is established in righteousness. To Him we commend your daughter, that He would keep her in all her ways.
The Scripture also promises, He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. This protection is personal and perpetual. The Lord says as it were to His angels, take special care of that one, for she is Mine. We pray that whether she is behind the wheel, upon her feet, or within the wards and classrooms of her nursing school, the Lord would give His angels charge over her and keep her footsteps in the way of safety and holiness. For the way of principle and the way of consecrated service for God's glory are safe ways, and to serve the sick and the suffering for Christ's sake is a noble calling.
And the very best prayer we can pray for our own protection is, Teach me to do Thy will, for Thou art my God. If many are watching and dangers abound, our safety lies in holiness and in walking close with Christ. So we pray not only for her bodily safety, but that the Lord would teach her to do His will in her studies, in her work, and in all her going out and coming in, and that He would guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
