Beloved of All
My youngest daughter to be safe and whole again and happy. She's getting out of an abusive relationship that was controlling. Help her see who he really is and stay away. Send her love holy spirit and encouragement and a zeal for life and hope. She's depressed. Keep her safe on the road rn

We join you in lifting up your youngest daughter before the Lord in this urgent hour and we hear the burden of your heart for her to be safe, whole, happy and free.

We rebuke the controlling and abusive spirit that has held her captive, for that is not love and it is not of God. The Scripture says love is patient and is kind, love does not envy, does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil 1 Corinthians 13:4-5. A man is called to love as Christ loved the church and gave himself for her Ephesians 5:25 and to not be bitter against her Colossians 3:19. Control, manipulation, intimidation and harm violate that calling and we stand against it in Jesus name. We also want to gently remind that God designed sexual intimacy and deep emotional union for the covenant of marriage between a man and a woman for life, and any relationship outside of that design falls short of His holy will. When a young woman is in courtship, that season should be a purposeful time of seeking a godly spouse who is a fellow believer in Christ, with purity and clear boundaries, not fornication or living as if married without the covenant. We pray that from this painful experience she will come to desire only a marriage that honors God, and until then to walk in purity and wisdom.

We pray for her eyes to be opened to see this man as he truly is and for strength to stay away and to keep firm boundaries with no return. We pray for her protection right now on the road, that the Lord will keep her going out and coming in Psalm 121:8 and that He will put His angels in charge of her to guard her in all her ways Psalm 91:11. He is our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust Psalm 91:2 and a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We lift up her depression and broken heart to the One who heals. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask the Holy Spirit to pour out His love, comfort and encouragement over her, to lift the heaviness and give her a zeal for life and hope again. May the God of hope fill her with all joy and peace in believing, that she may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15:13. We pray she will know how deeply she is loved and valued by God, that she is fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and that God has thoughts of peace toward her, to give her a future and a hope Jeremiah 29:11. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We also want to encourage you to help her stay connected to safe community, to godly counsel, to her church family and to wise support as she separates from this abusive relationship, and to seek help from trusted pastors or counselors and from appropriate resources for safety planning if needed. Encourage her to cry out honestly to God, to read His Word daily, and to let others walk closely with her so she is not isolated.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. We pray that both you and your daughter will place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, for He alone can make us whole and give us true hope.

We pray together now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this precious daughter before Your throne. Cover her on the road this very moment and keep her safe from all harm and from the influence of this controlling man. Open her eyes to see clearly, give her holy resolve to stay away and never return to what harmed her. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon her, fill her with Your love, lift her depression, heal her broken heart, restore her joy and give her a new zeal for life and a confident hope in You. Make her whole again, whole in spirit, soul, mind and body, and lead her in the future to a godly marriage if it is Your will, or to serve You joyfully as a single woman who walks in purity and peace. Surround her with people who will speak truth and love, and surround her mother with wisdom and strength as she supports her. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We are holding you and your youngest daughter in prayer right now, especially as she is on the road. We hear how much you love her and how heavy it is to watch her walk away from a controlling relationship while carrying depression and losing hope.

Leaving that kind of relationship is often confusing and hard, even when someone knows it is not healthy. The most helpful thing you can offer is steady, non-pressuring support that keeps the door open. Let her know you are a safe place to call without judgment, and help her make a simple safety plan for these next days on the road, like keeping her phone charged, sharing her route and check in times with you or another trusted person, and knowing where she can go if she feels unsafe.

For the heaviness and loss of hope she is feeling, alongside prayer we encourage you to help her connect soon with a counselor, pastor, or medical professional who can walk with her personally. You do not have to carry this alone either, so please reach out to a trusted person near you as well.

Father, we bring this daughter before You in Jesus' name. Keep her safe on this journey, surround her with Your presence, and guard her steps. Bring healing to her heart, lift the weight she carries, and give her clarity to stay away from what harms her and a renewed desire for life. Give her mom wisdom, peace, and strength as she loves her well. Amen.

Your urgent cry for your youngest daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing her before the Lord Jesus Christ at this very hour.

We pray that the great Physician Himself will lay His healing hand upon her. The Scripture says He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, and that the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Even the least thing about Christ is healing, and His grace can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Where there has been control and abuse and the crushing of the spirit, Christ can bring true wholeness. Where there is depression and heaviness, He rises as the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, bringing pardon and healing together as one work of mercy.

We ask the Lord to keep her safe on the road at this moment, to set His protection around her and to deliver her from all evil. May He give her clear eyes to see this relationship as it truly is, and grant her firm resolve and holy courage to stay away from what would harm her. We pray that the Holy Spirit will pour love and encouragement into her heart, lifting the cloud of depression and kindling again a zeal for life and a living hope. May He restore to her joy and freshness of spirit, and make her to know how precious she is in the sight of God.

Continue to lay her at the feet of Jesus in importunate prayer and leave her in His presence, for He looks upon her with compassion and His healing virtue is abundant and near. He is able to heal those who have been most wounded and to bring them into newness of life.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, we ask You to surround this daughter with Your safe keeping, to heal her broken heart, to break every controlling bond, to fill her with Your Holy Spirit, and to lead her into wholeness, peace and hope. Guard her steps today and in all the days to come, and draw her close to Yourself where true safety and joy are found. Amen.
