Beloved of All
My middle daughter to be safe 24/7 and at a lake party driving home later. To not drink and for her ex fiancé ### who was abusive to stop texting and harassing her! Please. He's evil. He.sucks her back in. Give her clarity jesus

We join with you right now lifting up your middle daughter before the Lord and we share your urgency for her safety. We pray for her protection at this lake party and especially as she drives home later, and we pray for wisdom and clarity over her heart regarding this ex fiance who has been abusive and continues to harass her.

We thank God that you called on Jesus for clarity, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find rescue and peace. John 14:6 reminds us that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and Acts 4:12 tells us there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We are grateful you looked to Him.

We pray for her physical safety around the water and on the road. We ask the Lord to place His hand upon her and keep her from all harm. Psalm 121:7-8 says Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore. And Psalm 91:11 says He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. We ask Him to guard her every hour, to keep her alert and sober, and to bring her home safely.

We also pray specifically that she will choose not to drink. The Word calls us to sobriety and clear minds for our protection. Ephesians 5:18 says Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit. And 1 Peter 5:8 says Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Proverbs 20:1 also warns that wine is a mocker and beer is a brawler and whoever is led astray by them is not wise. Alcohol lowers discernment, puts her at risk while swimming and driving, and makes her more vulnerable to manipulation. We pray she will have the strength to say no, to stay clear headed, and to surround herself with friends who will help her make wise choices and hold her accountable.

Regarding her ex fiance, we want to speak clearly with love and truth. Abuse is not love and is never God's will for a marriage or for courtship. The Bible says love is patient and is kind, love does not envy, does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth, 1 Corinthians 13:4-6. And husbands are commanded to love their wives even as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, Ephesians 5:25. A man who is abusive, harassing, manipulative and evil in his actions is not living out this love and is not a godly spouse. Psalm 11:5 says Yahweh examines the righteous, but His soul hates the wicked and him who loves violence. We rebuke that abusive and harassing behavior and the spiritual manipulation that seeks to suck her back in. We pray that every chain of control, fear, and confusion be broken in Jesus name.

We pray God gives her clarity, courage, and a sound mind to see this relationship as He sees it. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray she will guard her heart with firm boundaries, Proverbs 4:23 says Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. That may mean blocking communication, refusing to answer texts, telling trusted family and friends what is happening, and if the harassment continues, seeking help from authorities to stop it. A godly courtship should be moving toward a lifelong marriage between a man and a woman that honors God, with mutual respect, purity, and Christ at the center, and this former relationship does not reflect that.

So together we pray, Father in heaven, we lift this precious daughter to You in the mighty name of Jesus. Cover her with Your protection today at the lake and on the road home. Keep her sober, alert, and safe from all evil and temptation. Give her a holy conviction to turn away from drinking and from any situation that would put her in danger. Lord, silence the harassment of this ex fiance. Convict his heart and cause him to stop texting and pursuing her, and if he does not repent, remove his influence from her life completely. Give her eyes to see the truth about this abuse, give her strength to not be drawn back in, and surround her with godly counsel and protection. Fill her with Your power, love, and sound mind, and lead her toward Your perfect will for her future marriage to a godly man who will love her as Christ loves the church. We trust You as her refuge and strength, Psalm 46:1, and we rest in Your promise to keep her. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We are holding you and your middle daughter in prayer tonight. We hear how urgent this feels with the lake party and the drive home, and how painful it is to watch an abusive ex keep pulling her back in.

If she or you are in immediate danger, please contact your local emergency services right now. For free, confidential support, you can find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. You are not alone and trained people are ready to help right now.

We know you want her safe around the clock, clear headed and free from harassment. It makes sense you are asking for clarity and protection. One gentle step that can help tonight is to agree on a simple safety plan with her before she drives, a clear check in time, a sober ride option with no questions asked, and a boundary around the phone such as silencing or blocking his messages for the evening with a trusted friend aware of where she is. If harassing contact continues, keeping a record and reaching out to a trusted advocate or counselor alongside prayer can give her more support to hold those boundaries.

Father, we bring this daughter before You and ask for Your protection over her tonight and in the days ahead. Give her clarity, strength to step away from harm, and a safe way home. Comfort her mom with Your peace and guide them both toward wise, safe people who can walk with them. In Jesus name, amen.

Your urgent cry for your middle daughter has been heard and we are joining you in prayer before the throne of grace for her safety and clarity.

We know the danger that surrounds us all, and how we constantly need to cry to God to keep us from falling, remembering what a dreadful thing it would be to fall. There are snares at a lake party, on the road home, in the temptation to drink, and in the persistent voice of one who has harmed her before. You need an infinite Friend to keep you in safety against all the machinations of adversaries, and we have such a Friend in Christ.

So we pray to Him who is able to keep you from falling, to the only wise God our Savior. Our safety lies not in our own strength or wisdom, but in our Savior who is both able and wise to keep us. We ask the Lord to keep your daughter safe twenty four hours a day, to place His hand upon her at the lake and on the drive home, to grant traveling mercies and to keep her from all harm. We pray that the Lord will give her a sober mind and a steadfast resolve to turn away from drink, that she would be clear headed and self controlled, honoring God with her body and her choices.

We also lift before the Lord the harassment from her former fiance. It is right to seek deliverance from an abusive and harassing bond, and we pray that the Lord will stop his pursuit, that his texts and attempts to draw her back would cease and come to nothing. Pray that God will give your daughter clarity in Jesus, eyes to see this relationship as it truly is, courage to maintain firm and godly boundaries, and holy patience to not be afraid with any amazement but to stand firm as a true daughter of faith. May she love Christ above all, for He claims the first place in the hearts of His people, and may that love give her strength to not be sucked back into what is harmful.

We encourage you to keep close watch with wise and loving oversight, to ensure she is not alone, that there are trusted believers with her at the gathering and for the journey home, that communication remains open, and that clear boundaries are kept including blocking contact where needed and seeking help from family, church leaders and, if harassment continues, the proper authorities for protection. What we have possessed for ourselves in Christ we long to have for our children, and we pray earnestly for your household.

We thank God that there is more than mere safety in Him, for He is able to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. His throne might sooner fail than that one of His saints should perish, for His throne is established in righteousness. May your daughter know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and may she find in Him both present keeping and final joy.

Father, in the name of Jesus, keep this daughter from falling, guard her steps, keep her sober and safe, deliver her from the evil that pursues her, and grant her clarity and peace to walk in Your wise and holy way. Amen.
