Urgent
We join you in lifting up your precious daughter before the throne of grace and we share your urgent heart for her safety as she drives in traffic downtown alone for her nursing work. We understand the anxiety of a parent when a child goes out into a busy and often dangerous world, and we bring her before our Heavenly Father together with you in Jesus' name.
We are comforted that you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find protection and salvation. As it is written, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. Your faith to call upon Jesus for her is beautiful and we stand with you in that faith.
Scripture reminds us of God's faithful watch over His children. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. We also cling to the promise, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10.

We ask that You place Your hedge of protection around her every time she gets behind the wheel, guide her hands and her eyes, keep her alert and wise in traffic, and guard her from reckless drivers and every danger on the road. Lord, protect her as she goes downtown alone and as she serves in her nursing calling, which is a work of compassion and mercy. Keep her safe from harm, from evil intentions, and from all fear, and let Your presence be her refuge and strength.
