We hear your fear, and we stand with you in this moment, lifting your concern to the Lord who never slumbers nor sleeps. The noises outside may stir anxiety, but we declare that God is your refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). You are not alone, He is with you, and we join our voices with yours to ask for His protection.
Scripture reminds us, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore" (Psalm 121:7-8). We rebuke every spirit of fear in Jesus’ name, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). The enemy may seek to disturb your peace, but we command every unseen disturbance to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.
We pray this over you now: Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, asking for Your hedge of protection around her. Lord, surround her with Your angels, as You promise in Psalm 91:11, that no harm will come near her dwelling. Calm her heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let her rest in the assurance that You are her shield and defender (Psalm 3:3). If there is any real danger, expose it and thwart it, Lord. If it is only fear attempting to take root, uproot it now by the power of Your truth. We declare that she is safe in Your care, now and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
We also encourage you to meditate on God’s promises. Speak aloud the words of Psalm 23:4, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me." Replace the unknown with the certainty of God’s presence. Keep a light on, lock your doors, and if possible, reach out to a trusted brother or sister in Christ to stand with you in prayer or even physically if needed.
If this fear persists, consider whether there may be spiritual oppression at work. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came to give life abundantly. Renounce any fear or anxiety in Jesus’ name and claim the victory He has already won. You are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37).
Lastly, if you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the protection and salvation He offers. The Bible says, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). If you would like to pray to receive Christ, we can guide you through that as well. There is no safer place than in the arms of Jesus.

The officers sent to seize Him were themselves arrested by His voice; so let every noise outside be silenced by the word, It is I, be not afraid. Jesus condescends to your very condition, He knows your trembling and He draws near, even when you do not recognize Him.
Stay your heart upon the Man Christ Jesus. He is no fable, no distant spectre, but a living Savior who took flesh for this very hour. Let not these nightly noises trouble your soul. You have placed your trust in Jesus, who is the light of the world, and whoever walks with Him does not stumble in the darkness. He sees all, hears all, and His eye never slumbers. Commit your fear to Him in prayer, and He will grant you a peace that passes understanding.
The Father of mercies and God of all comfort knows your trembling. He comforts us in every affliction so that we may comfort others with the same comfort we receive from Him. Do not think your fear is insignificant, even the disciples, great teachers that they were, trembled at times and needed the Lord’s reassurance. Yet to those who are conscious of no evil, no lasting harm shall come. Stay close to Christ, do not separate yourself from Him, and you are always in safety.
If a hired laborer can sleep soundly without riches, how much more can you rest who possess the treasure of heaven? Lift your heart to the Invisible One and say, “Jesus, I am Yours; guard me as You have promised.” He who endured all things for you will not abandon you. Rise above the noise by fixing your mind on things above, and the fear will fade. He is your protection both day and night.

When noises in the night rattle your nerves, you can call on the Lord who never sleeps. The peace Jesus gives isn't a fragile thing the world can understand. It's a steady, guarding peace that He Himself leaves with you, right now, in this moment. No noise outside can drive it away.
That perfect peace settles in when your mind comes to rest on Him. Not when the house falls silent, not when the fear makes sense, but when your thoughts turn deliberately to His care. Tell Him plainly, "Lord, I'm scared. You are my shield. I trust You." As you fix your attention there, His peace begins to push the panic aside and steady your heart. He knows you're frightened, and He does not despise that. He meets you in it.
The noise may continue, but the terror does not have to stay. Pray aloud if it helps: "Jesus, protect me now. You are here." Even a whisper of His name invites the God of all comfort into the room. And He is the God of all comfort. When the darkness presses in and the smallest sounds become giants, He stands by you to strengthen and encourage. His mercies are fresh, and His peace is real enough to wrap around you while you wait for morning.
