We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your middle daughter to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Father God, we know that You see her struggles and the dangers she faces, and we ask for Your divine protection and intervention in her life. The Bible tells us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we claim this promise over her life. Surround her with Your angels, keeping her safe from harm, temptation, and the snares of the enemy.
We also pray for her sobriety, Father. The Word of God warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." Lord, we rebuke the spirit of addiction that seeks to destroy her life. We declare freedom over her in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, granting her the strength and self-control to resist temptation and turn away from substances that harm her body, which is Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Father, we ask that You draw her heart back to You. Soften her spirit to receive Your love and truth. Remind her of Your promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Let her feel Your presence in a tangible way, Lord, and let her know that she is deeply loved, not just by us, but by You.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, as her parent. The Bible instructs us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Father, give her parents the words to speak, the actions to take, and the patience to walk alongside her through this difficult season. Help them to set godly boundaries while extending grace and love, just as You do for us.
Lord, we know that true transformation comes only through Jesus Christ. If she has not yet surrendered her life to You, we pray that today would be the day of her salvation. Romans 10:9 tells us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We ask that You break every chain of bondage in her life and replace it with the freedom that comes from knowing You.
We stand in the gap for her, declaring that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of despair, fear, and addiction in Jesus' name. We speak life, healing, and restoration over her mind, body, and spirit. May she rise up as a testimony of Your power and grace, Lord.
Heavenly Father, we trust You to move mightily in her life. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
