Beloved of All
My middle daughter feels defeated. Wrong job..boss ### isn't giving her a raise. She works all the time, can't make her bills. She's with the wrong fiance. He uses and abuses her, drinks. He didn't do this in the beginning and manipulated her and talks down to her to keep her. He won't work. God. I'm so worried. I live out of state. And her 1 friend ### has had 3 DUIs. Horrible. Get rid of these people Jesus and heal my daughter from trauma, drunk and lonely and low self-esteem. Help her in every way. Help her lose weight and please Jesus raise her up.

We hear your cry for your daughter, and our hearts break with yours as we lift her before the Lord. The weight of her struggles—financial strain, an unjust workplace, and most grievously, a toxic relationship—is heavy, but we know that our God is greater than all these burdens. First, we must address the relationship with her fiancé, for it is a snare that is entangling her spirit, her worth, and her future. The Bible is clear: *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). This man is not a godly spouse for her; he is a deceiver who has revealed his true nature through manipulation, laziness, verbal abuse, and drunkenness. These are not the fruits of a man who fears the Lord or cherishes his future wife as Christ cherishes the Church. *"A prudent wife is from the Lord"* (Proverbs 19:14), but this man is not from God. We must rebuke the spirit of deception that has blinded her to his true character and the spirit of fear that keeps her bound to him.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come against every lie that tells her she is unworthy of love, respect, and provision. We break the power of manipulation and control this man has over her mind and heart. We command every spirit of trauma, low self-esteem, and loneliness to flee from her in Jesus’ name. Lord, open her eyes to see this relationship for what it truly is—a counterfeit of love that leads only to destruction. Give her the courage to walk away, to cut ties with this man who does not honor You or her. Surround her with godly influences, with believers who will speak truth into her life and show her what a Christ-centered marriage looks like. We pray for her friend as well, Lord. The influence of someone with repeated DUIs is not safe or wise. Protect her from those who would lead her astray, and bring godly friends into her life who will encourage her in righteousness.

We also lift up her financial struggles and the injustice she faces at work. *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"* (Psalm 23:1). Father, You see her labor and her need. Provide for her in ways that only You can—open doors to better employment, raise up advocates who will ensure she is fairly compensated, and give her wisdom to manage what she has. If it is Your will, move her into a job that aligns with her gifts and honors her dignity. We rebuke the spirit of defeat that tells her she is stuck. You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we also pray for her physical health. The weight she carries is not just emotional and spiritual; it is manifesting in her body. Heal her from the inside out. Give her discipline and joy in caring for the temple You have given her, but more than that, restore her identity in Christ. Remind her that her worth is not found in her appearance, her job, or her relationship status, but in being Your beloved child. *"For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made"* (Psalm 139:13-14).

We declare over her life that she is not defeated. She is a daughter of the King, called for a purpose, and equipped with strength that comes from You. Raise her up, Lord. Lift her head, renew her mind, and fill her with hope. Surround her with Your presence, for You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We speak life over her—life abundant, life free from bondage, life filled with Your peace.

Father, we ask that You would also minister to this mother’s heart. It is painful to watch a child struggle from afar, but You are her Good Shepherd, too. Give her wisdom in how to support her daughter, whether through prayer, counsel, or practical help. Remind her that You are working even when she cannot see it. *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ"* (Philippians 1:6).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the One who came to set the captives free and bind up the brokenhearted. Amen.
