We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this urgent plea for divine intervention in the realm of dreams and spiritual warfare. The Word of God tells us in Job 33:14-16, "For God speaks once, yes twice, yet man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed; then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction." It is clear that God can and does speak through dreams, but the enemy seeks to distort and pervert this means of communication.
Firstly, we must address the spiritual attacks you are experiencing in your dreams. The enemy has no power over a believer who is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ. We rebuke every demonic influence and attack in your dreams in the mighty name of Jesus. The Bible assures us in James 4:7, "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Stand firm in your faith, dear one, and do not give the enemy a foothold.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas that may be giving the enemy access. Are there unconfessed sins, unforgiveness, or areas where you have not fully surrendered to God? Ephesians 4:27 warns us, "Don’t give place to the devil." Let us pray together for complete deliverance and protection.
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace, seeking Your divine intervention in the life of our dear brother/sister. Lord, we ask that You would rebuke every demonic influence and attack in their dreams. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, their thoughts, and their dreams. Father, we ask that You would fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may be sensitive to Your voice and receive divine revelation, visions, and dreams from You alone.
Lord, we pray for a hedge of protection around them as they sleep, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We ask that You would seal their mind and their heart with Your peace, that they may rest securely in You. Father, we pray that You would give them at least one good dream, a dream from You, that they may be encouraged and strengthened in their faith.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment, that they may be able to distinguish between dreams from You and dreams from the enemy. Lord, we ask that You would help them to remember and understand the dreams You give them. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to take practical steps to guard your mind and heart. Before going to sleep, spend time in prayer and worship, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill your mind and your dreams. Speak the Word of God over your life and your dreams. Psalm 91:5-6 says, "You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day; nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that wastes at noonday." Claim this promise over your life.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers. Share your struggles and your victories with them, and allow them to pray with you and for you. The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up."
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The enemy may attack, but he cannot overcome the power of God in you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
