Beloved of All
My father left on my ### birthday. Jesus the pain. My mother became abusive and addicted to pills. I chose someone who said he was a Christian and he started drinking after our ### children. Jesus forgive me. I left. I took since ### to have a serious relationship now that my kids are grown and this fiance started mistreating me recently. He has anger from his ex. He was mistreated and used. Jesus, why? I have gained so much weight. Jesus help me and my children. Are we cursed? Help us. Help me lose weight and look better and get strong. I've had a hard hard life. Convict this man. I can't start over at my age.

We hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting up every pain, every fear, and every burden you carry. Your story is heavy with abandonment, betrayal, and the weight of broken relationships, but we stand on the truth that Jesus is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not cursed—God does not curse His children. The hardships you’ve endured are not a reflection of His absence but an opportunity for His power to be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We rebuke the lie that you are forsaken and declare that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

First, we must address the pain of your past relationships with godly sorrow and repentance where needed. You mentioned choosing a man who claimed to be a Christian but later fell into sin, and then another fiancé who mistreated you. We grieve with you over the ways these relationships have wounded you, but we also gently remind you that God’s design for marriage is sacred—a covenant between one man and one woman, built on Christ-centered love, respect, and mutual submission (Ephesians 5:22-33). The patterns of abuse, addiction, and ungodly behavior you’ve experienced are not part of His plan. We pray for conviction to fall upon these men, that they would turn from their sin and seek the Lord’s healing, but we also pray for your protection from any relationship that does not honor God or reflect His love. You are not called to endure mistreatment in the name of love—God’s love is patient and kind, not self-seeking or easily angered (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

You asked, "Jesus, why?" and we echo that cry. The pain of rejection, the cycle of brokenness, and the physical toll it has taken on you are not lost on the Lord. He collects every tear in a bottle and records every sorrow in His book (Psalm 56:8). The weight you’ve gained is not a measure of your worth—your value is found in Christ alone, who calls you His beloved (Isaiah 43:4). But we also understand your desire to care for your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). We pray for discipline and strength as you seek to honor God with your health, not out of vanity, but out of stewardship for the life He’s given you. May He renew your strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31) and give you the grace to take one step at a time.

You feel too weary to start over, and we acknowledge the exhaustion of rebuilding after so much loss. But the Lord is the God of new beginnings—He makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). You are not defined by your past or your age. Sarah was 90 when she bore Isaac, and Moses was 80 when he led Israel out of Egypt. God’s timing is not ours, and His plans for you are for good, not for harm, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray for the Lord to open doors of provision, healing, and restoration for you and your children. May He bind up your wounds and restore the years the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).

Most of all, we pray for your heart to be anchored in Christ. The pain of abandonment and betrayal can make it difficult to trust, but Jesus is the only one who will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). He is the Bridegroom who loves His bride with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). We rebuke the spirit of fear and rejection in your life and declare that you are adopted into God’s family, chosen and dearly loved (Ephesians 1:5). May you find your identity in Him alone, not in the approval of men or the validation of a relationship.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister who has endured so much pain. Lord, You see every tear, every wound, and every fear. We ask that You would draw near to her and wrap her in Your love. Heal the places where she has been broken by abandonment, abuse, and betrayal. Replace the lies she has believed with Your truth—that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans to prosper her and not to harm her (Jeremiah 29:11), and that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we ask for Your protection over her heart. Guard her from relationships that do not honor You or reflect Your love. Convict the men who have mistreated her, that they would turn from their sin and seek Your face. Give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this season, and surround her with godly community that will speak life and truth into her.

Lord, we pray for her physical health. Strengthen her body, renew her energy, and give her the discipline to care for herself in a way that honors You. Help her to see herself through Your eyes, not through the lens of past rejection or societal standards. May she find her worth in You alone.

We rebuke the spirit of fear and rejection in her life. We declare that she is Your beloved daughter, chosen and set apart for Your purposes. Give her the courage to trust You with her future, knowing that You are the God of new beginnings. Restore what has been lost, heal what has been broken, and lead her into the abundant life You have promised.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Amen.

You are not alone in this journey. The Lord is with you, and we stand with you in prayer. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding your heart in our prayers. We understand the weight you carry, the pain of the past, and the fear of the future. But we want you to know, you are not alone. Jesus is right there with you, and we are standing with you, lifting you up.

We've been thinking about you and your journey. It's like you've been walking through a dense forest, filled with thorns and shadows. But remember, even in the darkest parts of the forest, there's always a path leading back to the light. Jesus is that path. He's been walking with you all this time, even when you couldn't see Him.

We pray that you would find comfort in His presence. That you would feel His arms around you, His heart beating in rhythm with yours. That you would hear His whisper, "I am with you. I love you. I have not forsaken you."

We also pray for strength. Strength to let go of the past, to forgive those who have hurt you, and to trust again. Strength to take care of your body, to nourish it with healthy food and exercise, not out of vanity, but out of love for the temple of the Holy Spirit that you are.

We pray for wisdom. Wisdom to discern who to trust, who to let into your life, and who to keep at a distance. Wisdom to know when to stand firm and when to let go.

And we pray for hope. Hope that tomorrow will be better than today. Hope that there are still good men out there, who will love you as Jesus loves you. Hope that your children will find their way back to you, and that your family will be whole again.

We're not promising that the road will be easy. But we know that Jesus is faithful. He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will be with you every step of the way, and He will give you the strength to keep going.

So, dear friend, keep walking. Keep trusting. Keep hoping. And know that you are loved. You are cherished. You are never alone.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.
