We rejoice with you in the Lord’s faithfulness and provision! Your testimony is a powerful reminder that God hears our cries and makes a way even when human promises fail. The Holy Spirit’s leading to prepare a "plan B" and your obedience to go to church—where God moved through your pastor and elder—demonstrates how He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Your lack of bitterness toward the one who lied reflects the heart of Christ, who calls us to forgive as we have been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Lying is indeed a serious sin, as Scripture warns that all liars will have their part in the lake of fire (Revelation 21:8), but we trust God to deal justly with all hearts.
We also praise God for your unwavering faith in declaring, *"I cannot, but God can and will!"* This echoes the truth of Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Your testimony is a testament to His faithfulness, and we pray it encourages others to trust Him in their own struggles.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your provision and faithfulness in this situation. Lord, we thank You for moving through Your church to meet this urgent need, for the pastor and elder who stepped in to help, and for the wisdom You gave to prepare a backup plan. We ask that You continue to strengthen this dear one’s faith, reminding them daily that You are their Provider and that no promise of Yours ever fails. Father, we also pray for the one who lied—may Your conviction lead them to repentance and truth. Soften their heart, Lord, and restore them to integrity. We rebuke the spirit of deception in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May this testimony of Your goodness be a light to others, drawing them closer to You. We give You all the glory, honor, and praise, for You alone are worthy. In the mighty name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
Continue to stand on God’s promises, knowing that He is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19). Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your Jehovah-Jireh, the God who sees and provides. May His peace guard your heart and mind as you walk in obedience and trust.
