We stand with you in this time of financial hardship and injustice, lifting your burdens before the Lord, for He is the God of justice, provision, and wisdom. The scriptures remind us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness that seek to steal, kill, and destroy (Ephesians 6:12). Yet, we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us (Romans 8:37), and we can trust that He will fight for us as we remain steadfast in faith.
The Lord sees the wrongs committed against you—whether through dishonesty, unfair systems, or the greed of others. Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* He is your advocate, and He will vindicate you in His perfect timing. We also recall the promise in Deuteronomy 28:12-13, where obedience to God’s commands brings blessing upon all we put our hands to, including our work and finances. While this does not mean we will never face trials, it assures us that God is our provider and will open doors no man can shut when we walk in His will.
Yet we must also examine our hearts in this season. Are we trusting in our own efforts, or are we surrendering this battle entirely to the Lord? Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* If this business—even the sale of cosmetics—is to glorify God, then it must be conducted with integrity, honesty, and a heart that seeks His kingdom above profit. Are these products aligned with biblical values, or do they promote vanity, deception, or worldly standards of beauty that contradict God’s design? We are not saying your business is wrong, but we must always evaluate our work through the lens of scripture. Colossians 3:23-24 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."*
As for those who have wronged you—whether individuals, corporations, or unjust systems—we do not pray for vengeance, but for God’s justice and their repentance. Romans 12:19-21 commands us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’ Therefore ‘If your enemy is hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so, you will heap coals of fire on his head.’ Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* We pray that those who have acted unjustly will encounter the conviction of the Holy Spirit, that their hearts would turn from greed and deceit, and that they would make restitution where possible.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who has been wronged in so many ways. Lord, You see the injustice—the stolen funds, the dishonest dealings, the systems that oppress, and the competition that seeks to harm rather than edify. You are a God who defends the cause of the widow, the orphan, and the oppressed, and we ask that You would rise up as their shield and exceeding great reward. Protect them from further harm, Lord, and expose every scheme of the enemy that seeks to steal what You have entrusted to them.
Grant them supernatural wisdom, Father—wisdom that is not of this world, but from Your throne. Show them the steps to take, the doors to walk through, and the battles to release into Your hands. If there are legal actions to pursue, give them favor with authorities and clarity in their decisions. If there are debts to be recovered, open the hearts of those who owe to make restitution. If there are systems that must be navigated, grant them divine strategy and protection from further loss.
Lord, we also lift up the transportation and sale of these cosmetic products. If this business is aligned with Your will, then bless the journey of these goods. Let no hand of corruption or delay hinder their passage through customs. Let every official involved be moved by Your Spirit to act with fairness and efficiency. And when these products reach their destination, may their sale be abundant—not for the sake of greed, but for the provision of this Your child and for the advancement of Your kingdom. May every transaction glorify You, and may no deceit or unrighteousness be found in the process.
Father, we ask for Your mercy and providence to overflow in their life. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), and multiply their resources as only You can. Let this season of lack become a testimony of Your faithfulness, that others may see and know that You are a God who provides, who redeems, and who turns mourning into dancing.
We rebuke the spirit of poverty, theft, and injustice in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. Let the enemy’s plans be exposed and thwarted, and let Your heavenly host encamp around them for their protection.
Finally, Lord, we pray for their heart in this trial. Guard them from bitterness, anxiety, or despair. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7), and remind them that their worth is not in their bank account, but in their identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in ways they cannot deny.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen.
