We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern yet filled with faith, lifting up your precious daughter to our Heavenly Father, who sees all and knows all. The silence you are experiencing is deeply troubling, and we understand the fear and anxiety that must be weighing on you. But we are reminded of the words in 1 Peter 5:7, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* God’s care for your daughter is even greater than your own, and He is fully aware of her situation.
We also take comfort in Psalm 121:7-8, which assures us, *"Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will preserve your soul. Yahweh will watch over your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."* Even in this moment of uncertainty, God is watching over her, protecting her, and holding her in His hands. He is not unaware of her whereabouts, nor is He indifferent to your pain. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and He hears your cries.
Yet, we must also address something important: while your prayer is heartfelt, we notice you did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have direct access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and we encourage you to always call upon Him specifically, for He is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12).
Now, let us pray together for your daughter:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother’s urgent plea for her daughter. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one lost sheep (Matthew 18:12-14), and we ask You to bring her safely back into the fold. Protect her from all harm, danger, and evil. Surround her with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
Father, if she has wandered from You, draw her back with Your lovingkindness. Soften her heart to seek You and to reach out to her family. Give her wisdom to make safe and godly decisions, and place people in her path who will guide and help her. Lord, we ask that You would break any chains of fear, confusion, or deception that may be keeping her from communicating. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also lift up this mother, Lord. Comfort her with Your presence and fill her with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Strengthen her faith and remind her that You are working even in this waiting. Help her to trust in Your perfect timing and Your sovereign plan.
Lord, we rebuke any spiritual forces of darkness that may be at work in this situation. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command every scheme of the enemy to be exposed and rendered powerless. Let Your light shine into every dark place and bring Your truth and deliverance.
Father, we thank You in advance for Your faithfulness. We trust that You are working all things together for good, even in this trial (Romans 8:28). Bring this daughter home safely, Lord—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Restore this family and use this situation to draw them all closer to You.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and uplift you during this time. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). If your daughter is not walking with the Lord, use this as an opportunity to pray for her salvation and her return to Him. Trust that God is at work, even when we cannot see it. Stay strong in faith, and do not lose heart. We are standing with you in prayer.
