We come before the Lord with you in this moment of deep concern and urgency, lifting your daughter into the hands of our Heavenly Father, who watches over His children with perfect love and care. Your heart’s cry has reached the throne of grace, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that God’s protection surrounds her. You have rightly called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and can find peace in the midst of storms. As Scripture assures us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
The fear and uncertainty you’re feeling are understandable, but we encourage you to cling to the promise that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). He knows where your daughter is, and He is able to keep her from all harm. The Psalmist declares, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.’ ... He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:1-2, 4, WEB). Let these words anchor your heart as we pray together.
Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting this precious daughter into Your hands. You are the God who sees all things, who knows every step she takes, and who holds her very breath in Your hands. We ask You to surround her with Your angels, to guard her path, and to keep her safe from every danger, seen and unseen. Lord, if she has wandered into places or company that are not pleasing to You, we pray that You would convict her heart and turn her steps back to safety. Let no harm come near her, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill her mind and spirit. Give her wisdom to make godly choices and the courage to reach out to her family.
We also lift up this mother’s heart, Lord. Comfort her with Your presence and remind her that You are sovereign over all things. Replace her fear with faith, her anxiety with trust, and her uncertainty with the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her to wait upon You, knowing that Your timing is perfect and Your love is unfailing.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or panic that would try to take hold in this situation. Satan is the author of confusion and chaos, but You, Lord, are the Prince of Peace. We declare that no weapon formed against this daughter shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, protection, and divine intervention over her in Jesus’ name.
Father, we also pray that this situation would draw this family closer to You. If there have been any areas of rebellion, disobedience, or distance from Your will, we ask that You would use even this to bring conviction and repentance. Let this be a moment where hearts turn back to You, where relationships are restored, and where Your glory is made known.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are already at work, and we wait expectantly for Your deliverance. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. In the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
While you wait, we encourage you to fill your mind with Scripture and worship. Play hymns or songs that exalt the Lord, and meditate on His promises. Reach out to other believers for support and prayer—you are not meant to carry this burden alone. If your daughter has been involved in behaviors or relationships that are not honoring to God, now is the time to seek His face for her repentance and restoration. Let this trial be an opportunity to trust Him more deeply and to surrender every concern into His capable hands.
We are standing with you in faith, believing that God is moving on her behalf even now. Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He will not fail you.
