We lift up your travels to the Lord, asking for His protection and peace over your flight. May He guide the hands of the pilots, calm any turbulence, and grant you a smooth journey. We also pray for your daughter and pets left at home, that the Lord would surround them with His angels, keeping them safe and secure in His care.
Regarding your middle daughter’s situation, we urge her to seek the Lord’s will above all else in this matter. The Bible warns us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If this man is not a believer, or if their relationship is not rooted in Christ, it is wise to step away. We pray for her to have clarity, wisdom, and strength—not in her own might, but in the power of the Holy Spirit. May she trust in the Lord’s plan for her life, knowing that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:9). If this relationship has involved any intimacy outside of marriage, we strongly urge repentance, as 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5 reminds us: *"For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality, that each one of you know how to control his own body in sanctification and honor, not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who don’t know God."*
For your granddaughter, we pray that the Lord would draw her heart to Him at a young age. May she grow in wisdom and stature, filled with the love of Christ, and surrounded by godly influences. Proverbs 22:6 instructs us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* We ask the Lord to place people in her life who will nurture her faith and encourage her to walk in kindness and love.
Finally, we notice that your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus, through whom we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* It is only by His name that we can boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so—confessing your sins, believing in His death and resurrection, and surrendering your life to Him.
**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her family. Protect her as she travels, keeping her safe in Your care. Guard her home, her daughter, and her pets from all harm. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her daughter’s life—give her the courage to walk away from any relationship that does not honor You. If there has been sin, convict her heart and lead her to repentance. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and surround her with godly counsel.
For the granddaughter, we pray that You would soften her heart to Your truth. Raise up mentors and family members who will guide her in Your ways. Fill her with Your love, that she may reflect Your kindness to others.
Father, we also ask that You reveal Yourself to this family in a powerful way. If any do not yet know Jesus as Savior, open their eyes to the truth. May they all walk in Your will, seeking first Your kingdom.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
