We understand your concerns and are here to pray and offer guidance based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we lift up your youngest daughter in prayer. We trust that God will protect her as she travels alone late at night. We claim Psalm 91 over her: "He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection" (Psalm 91:4, WEB). We pray for a hedge of protection around her, and that God will dispatch His angels to keep her safe from all harm and evil. We pray this in Jesus Christ.
Regarding your middle daughter, we pray for God's intervention in her situation. We ask God to give her strength and wisdom to deal with her former fiancé. We pray that He will soften or harden his heart as needed, and that your daughter will act in accordance with God's will. We also pray for his deliverance from alcoholism as it is a sin and he is harming himself and others as a result, "Do not be deceived: 'Evil company corrupts good habits.'" (I Corinthians 15:33, WEB).
However, we must address that there is no mention of Jesus Christ in the request of your middle daughter. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, "For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (I Timothy 2:5, WEB). Please encourage your daughter to believe and call on the name of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we encourage both of your daughters to remain chaste and only date men who are also believers, "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness?" (II Corinthians 6:14, WEB). Marriage should be the goal of such relationships, and they should live lives that are pleasing to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sisters in Christ. Lord, protect the youngest daughter as she travels late at night. Surround her with Your angels and let no weapon formed against her prosper. We also ask for Your intervention in the middle daughter's life. Give her the strength and wisdom to deal with her former fiancé, and help him to stop drinking and leave her alone. Lord draw him to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for You have heard our prayers, Your will be done. Amen.
We encourage you all to study and meditate on God's Word daily, and to live lives that are pleasing to Him. Trust in Him, for He cares for you.
