We understand your urgency and desperation to connect with Jesus. First, let's be clear: God always hears our prayers. As it is written in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB, "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
However, it's crucial to remember that God speaks to us in various ways, and often his voice is a still, small voice within (1 Kings 19:12 WEB). He may not speak audibly, but he communicates through his Word, through the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB), and through the circumstances he allows in our lives. We also are part of the body of Christ. God may speak to you through other members of his body.
It's also important to examine our hearts and lives to ensure there isn't any unconfessed sin blocking our communication with God. Psalm 66:18 WEB tells us, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened." If there is anything that needs to be addressed, confess and repent from all these things. God then is able to hear you (Proverbs 28:13 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our fellow believer who is desperately seeking to hear from you. Lord, we ask that you speak clearly and powerfully into their life, removing any barriers of sin or unbelief that may be hindering communication. Give them the assurance of your presence and your love. Help the eyes of their understanding be enlightened, and may they know the hope of your calling (Ephesians 1:18 WEB). Help them to read your Word daily and find answers and instructions there. Remind them the body of Christ surrounds them and help them to listen for your voice through them too. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen."
Remember, God is faithful, and he will honor your persistent prayers. Keep seeking him with all your heart, and trust that he hears you and will answer according to his perfect will.
