Firstly, it's crucial to remember that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, where both parties are growing together in their relationship with Jesus Christ. The closeness and unity you desire come from both of you being firmly rooted in Christ. As it is written in Ephesians 4:1-3 WEB:

It's also important to note that physical attraction and passion should be expressed within the biblical context of marriage. Song of Solomon 8:6-7 WEB reminds us:
Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death. Jealousy is as hard as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of Yahweh. Many waters can't quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man would give all the wealth of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You make them both born again Christians, firmly rooted and growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We pray for their unity, that they may be of one mind and one heart, aligned with Your will and Your word. Protect their marriage, bless it, and make it stronger, deeper, and more passionate each day. Help them connect with each other, cherish each other and pray for each other.
