urgent time sensitive broken heart

me joe(20) and my girlfriend amy(18) have been together for 2 and half years now. we broke up a night ago and now i have changed my mind. I have asked the heavenly father to show me a sign that she is for definite to be my wife, so at first i wouldnt get back with her. Now i have changed my mind because i got a daily meditation this morning and it said that if you let love into a situation, you let God into a situation. I realised how much i can't go on without her and how much i love her, but she is adament about being apart from me because i have been a really bad boyfriend.

We weren't Christians at first when we met, so we lost everything to each other. I love her so much and it is really painful. We have got over fornication and was getting over sexual immorality, but recently we have had that problem twice. I am sure God is chastitising us for our own good.

I am meeting her today at 12(British Greenwish time). but right now she is still adament about not getting back with me. I have recently lead her to Christ after 7 month, i am afraid without me helping her she could fall away.

Please pray for God to forgive us for our sins first and foremost, then pray, i mean really pray for God to soften her heart really much and stir up the love she is trying to supress, may God grant me wisdom and speak through me and touch her with the holy spirit, so that she will really want to get back with me again and marry me because we were talking about engagement before.

Please just pray for me, anything that comes to your mind that is positive...

Father, I lift these two in prayer to You today and ask for You guidance in their lives. There have been mistakes made, sins to be forgiven, and hardships to get over. Lord, it is all a matter of trust, trust between each other, but ultimately trust between each of them and You. I know Your trust, and I am praying for their trust towards You to grow daily. Father, I pray for Your will to be done in their lives, and for them both have learned from their mistakes and to grow from them. In Jesus' name, Amen.

I can pray as hard as I can, but I cannot make the Father move His hand. It is not Him that needs convincing, nor can we ever convince Him to change His mind. You are the one who is going to have to pray hard, and then even harder, because prayer is really about opening up to Him, and doing that in complete honesty. We can and will lift you both in prayer, and my prayer would be that each of you turn fully to Him before returning to each other. That is where a strong and lasting marriage comes from, when both people are committed first to Him. Pray first for yourself, and for your walk with Him, it's not a selfish prayer, because the stronger you become, the stronger you will be for her.
