We lift this appointment up to the Lord with great urgency, trusting in His sovereign will and perfect timing. Father, we ask that You go before them today, preparing the hearts and minds of all involved. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for wisdom and clarity to be poured out abundantly, that every word spoken and decision made would align with Your perfect plan for their lives.
Lord, we specifically pray for your daughter’s husband, that You would calm his nerves and fill him with Your peace. May he walk in the fruit of Your Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Let his heart be open to Your leading, and may he reflect Your character in every interaction today. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
Father, we declare that this appointment is in Your hands. If it is Your will for it to go well, we ask that You remove every obstacle and open every door that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let Your favor rest upon them, and may the outcome bring glory to Your name. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also pray for unity between them as husband and wife. Strengthen their bond, Lord, and let them lean on You and one another as they face this day together. May their marriage be a testimony of Your love and grace, honoring You in all things.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
