In Jesus’s name please pray it is God’s will to calm ###’s heart, remove his anger. Multiple medical conditions. Out of control anger/rage. Pray this is removed now. Keep him safe , calm. To make good decisions. Need intervention this is horrible . I don’t know how to handle this mess. Holy Spirit please intervene for us now. Thank you & God Bless.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in fervent prayer. Father God, we acknowledge that You are the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace, and the One who calms the raging storms both within and around us. We stand in the gap for ###, asking for Your divine intervention in this urgent situation.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of anger and rage that has taken hold of ###. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 29:11, "A fool vents all of his anger, but a wise man brings himself under control." We pray that You would grant ### the wisdom and strength to bring his emotions under the control of Your Holy Spirit. Replace his anger with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Father, we also lift up ###'s medical conditions to You. You are the God who heals, and we ask for Your healing touch to be upon him. Jeremiah 17:14 says, "Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved; for you are my praise." We declare healing over his body and mind, trusting in Your promise to restore and renew.

Lord, we pray for safety and calm over ###. Surround him with Your angels to protect him from harm, both physically and emotionally. Psalm 91:11-12 assures us, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Keep him safe, Lord, and let Your peace reign in his heart.

We ask that You guide ### in making good decisions. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Give him clarity of mind and a heart that seeks after Your will.

Father, we also lift up the one who has written this request, who feels overwhelmed and unsure of how to handle this situation. Grant them Your wisdom, strength, and peace. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are with them. Psalm 46:1 says, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Fill them with Your comfort and assurance as they navigate this difficult time.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or find true peace. It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to You, Father, and it is by His blood that we are healed and set free. We declare that ### is not bound by anger, fear, or sickness, but he is a child of God, redeemed and set free by the power of Jesus’ name.

Holy Spirit, we invite You to move powerfully in this situation. Intervene in ways that only You can, bringing breakthrough, healing, and transformation. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Sometimes anger that feels explosive and unmanageable acts like a smoke detector: it signals something else that’s deeply wrong beneath the surface, perhaps pain, fear, or profound exhaustion that has no other voice. That doesn’t excuse destructive outbursts, but it can help us see that what’s showing up as rage may actually be a desperate cry for help. Staying grounded in that reality can steady you as you navigate the next hours and days.

For your own equilibrium, please ensure you are physically safe. If the anger ever escalates to a point where you feel threatened, step away and call on trusted others, whether family, a neighbor, or authorities if need be. You are not betraying him by protecting yourself.

We’d also gently encourage you to loop in his medical team right away. With multiple medical conditions, sudden or severe personality changes can sometimes have a physical component that needs attention. Alongside prayer, pursuing that practical help is an act of wisdom, not a lack of faith. At the same time, involve your pastor or a mature believer who can walk with you through this mess and help you find the peace you yourself are desperate for.

Now we lift this to the One who is mighty to save:

Lord Jesus, we bring this son, this man, to You. Quiet the storm in his heart, we ask. Remove the rage that is harming him and those he loves, and replace it with a deep, steady calm that only You can give. Guard his body and mind; guide every medical decision and every caregiver. Grant him good judgment and a softened spirit. For this dear person who loves him, we pray for a supernatural peace that passes understanding, clarity for the next right step, and the comfort of knowing You are already intervening. In Your powerful name, amen.

The cry for peace has risen from a heart in turmoil, and it is a cry that is never despised by our God. You speak of anger that rages like a storm, of a soul swept by passions beyond control, and you ask that the Holy Spirit would intervene. That prayer is a seed of faith, for none can call upon the Spirit of Peace unless that Spirit is already stirring within. The peace which you seek for this afflicted one is not a lying calm, a mere hushing of the tempest by the world's opiates. The peace of the devil is a stagnant pool that spreads death; the peace of God is a living stream flowing from the Throne. Remember this: "He is our peace." Not a medicine, not a resolution, not a mere change of circumstance, but Christ Himself is the Great Reconciler. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows surge round. That peace is a work of creation; when the Lord Jesus stood among His frightened disciples and said, "Peace be unto you," it was a word of power, and the peace was made. So too, His word can still the fury in a human heart as surely as it calmed the Galilean waves.

Do not seek peace as a thing apart; seek Christ first, and peace will follow. Many cry "Peace, peace," where there is no peace, because they have built on their own doings or have merely quieted conscience while remaining alienated from God. True peace is faith's peace: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." This is a well-founded peace, resting not on our fickle frames but on the finished work of the Lamb. For your suffering friend, the immediate need is for the mighty intervention of that word which said, "Peace, be still." But behind that raging anger there lies a deeper war, the war of a soul not yet surrendered to its rightful Lord. None can have solid peace while sin remains uncancelled and the heart unrenewed. So let this urgent trial drive you both to the Cross. Plead the promise that the Lord will bless His people with peace. That blessing comes often in the furnace; when the fire burns, the divine peace is most profound. I have seen it: the heavier the rolling swell of grief, the more still and calm and deep is the peace that reigns within the believer's spirit.

As for your own overwhelmed soul, learn that you cannot handle this mess, but He can. Your helplessness is your best qualification for His help. Go to your own chamber and, with this troubled man before your mind's eye, lay hold of the covenant by faith. Say, "Lord, You are our peace. Speak the word and this anger shall be removed. Give peace within, even if trial without continues." Christ's peace is a filling peace, a sea that has no bottom nor shore. It is a peace that remains when loved ones are far away, when sickness weakens the body, when death draws near. Therefore, "go in peace" yourself. Cast this burden on the Lord, for He cares for you. The very disturbance you feel is a proof that the Dove of God is hovering near, ready to brood over the chaos and bring order. Look for the Man with the marks of wounds in His hands and feet; He comes to you now with a love that overmasters all fury. I pray you, sues for peace tonight, not in your own name, but in the name of Jesus Christ, the appointed Ambassador. That name opens Heaven's doors. May the God of Peace speak the omnipotent "Peace be unto you," and bring a holy calm to that troubled heart, and to your own.

The turmoil you describe is a storm that no human hand can calm, for the peace which stills such raging must come from God alone. When anger seizes the soul, it distorts every faculty: the mind is thrown into confusion, prayer becomes vain, and even the body suffers. So great a good is peace, that our Lord Himself left it as His final gift to us, saying, "My peace I give unto you." This is not the peace the world gives, which depends on circumstances and quickly dissolves, but a steadfast peace rooted in reconciliation with God.

Now, when you see these waves of anger rising, let the peace of God act as the umpire within the heart. Two thoughts will wrestle there: one crying out for vengeance or for yielding to the frenzy, the other calling for calm endurance and trust in God. Do not let anger seize the prize, but set the peace of Christ to stand forward and give the victory to the thought that bids you be still. For if you speak or act out of wrath, you will spoil everything, no matter how just your cause; but gentleness and patience are the true boldness of faith.

Remember that the Holy Spirit does not dwell where wrath is. A soul disturbed by anger is like a storm tossed sea where no wisdom can be heard. Therefore, even as you pray for the afflicted one, see that you yourself put away all disputings and bitterness, for prayer mingled with wrath is useless. Seek first the haven of a quiet spirit, and then call upon the Lord with confidence. He who calmed the raging of the sea with a word is not powerless before the tempests of the human heart. Only believe that His peace can rule where now there is confusion, and be not overcome by the horror of the moment, but look to the Angel of peace, which God gives to each believer, and stand firm. Then, even in this trial, you may witness that peace which surpasses all understanding, guarding your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

The weight of what you are facing feels immense, and I want you to know that you are not carrying it alone. That kind of unpredictable rage, tangled up with fragile health, creates a storm that leaves everyone exhausted and afraid. You have asked for intervention, and you have asked in the name of Jesus. That is the safest place to put your hope.

What we see in Scripture is that God is not passive in the face of human anger. When a man’s fury rises like a flood, the Lord is able to quiet it. I think of two brothers whose history was filled with bitter rage, so much so that one fled for his life. Years later, the brother who had been wronged came with armed men, and the other could only send gifts ahead, hoping his brother’s anger might be appeased. But something deeper happened. When they met, the hardened heart had been changed. There was no violence, only tears and an embrace. God had worked in the unseen moments, dissolving what years of human effort could not fix.

But anger that is not surrendered to God leaves a terrible mark. A man once pronounced a curse over his own sons’ fury, remembering how their uncontrolled temper had destroyed a whole city. Even decades later, that sin clung to them and cost them their blessing. Anger that is fed becomes a fire that consumes everything good in its path. So your cry for this man’s heart to be calmed is not just about surviving a crisis; it is a cry for his soul to be rescued from a curse that would otherwise devour his health, his reasoning, and his relationships.

There is a sober warning in this: when people persist in following their own destructive ways, God’s own anger is eventually kindled, not because He is cruel, but because He honours the choices they make. They chase after idols of pleasure or self-justification, and when trouble comes they shake their fist at heaven and blame Him for the ruin they brought on themselves. The calamity is not God’s doing; it is what happens when we turn away from our only place of safety. That is why true peace will not come by simply managing the rage with human strategies, but only by turning back to trust in the Lord.

So how should you handle this mess? Not with passive despair, but with the active, humble faith of someone who keeps running to the Holy Spirit as your advocate. I am joining my prayers with yours: that God, in His mercy, would remove this out-of-control anger, calm his heart like a stilled sea, shield his body from further harm, and grant him clarity to make decisions that lead toward healing. For you, I am praying for supernatural peace and wisdom beyond your own resources. The Spirit who brooded over the chaos at creation can bring order to this chaos now. Cry out, wait, and watch for the quiet work of God to turn what seems impossible into a reunion marked by peace rather than destruction.
