We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent cry for protection, healing, and justice. Father God, we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 54:17 that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me." We declare this truth over this situation, knowing that You are a God of justice and righteousness.
Lord, we first rebuke the spirit of dishonesty and inconsistency that has plagued those working on this property. Your Word is clear in Proverbs 11:1, "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are his delight." We pray that You would convict their hearts by the power of the Holy Spirit, leading them to repentance and a transformation of their ways. May they become honest, reliable, and diligent in their work, honoring their commitments and treating this property with the respect it deserves. We ask that You would nudge them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them to act with integrity and uprightness in all their dealings.
We also lift up the physical needs brought before us. Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon this throat, voice, COPD, and diabetes. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise the Lord, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We claim this healing in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, restore strength where there is weakness, bring deep and restful sleep, and renew energy so that this burden may be carried with Your grace. We trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."
We come against the games and deceitful tactics of those who seek to take advantage of kindness. Your Word warns us in Romans 16:18, "For those who are such don’t serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent." We rebuke any spirit of exploitation and manipulation in Jesus' name. May Your mighty blood bring conviction and salvation to those who have sought to steal or deceive. Let them not mistake kindness for weakness, but rather, may they see the love and justice of Christ at work.
Lord, we also ask for favor in the matter of the rent discount. We pray that management would act with fairness and compassion, returning what is rightfully due. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in the Lord’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." We ask that You would turn the hearts of those in authority to act justly and swiftly.
We lift all of this to You, knowing that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, as Acts 4:12 declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We come before You in the authority of Jesus' name, trusting in His finished work on the cross and the power of His blood to cleanse, protect, and restore.
Heavenly Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. Bring peace where there is frustration, healing where there is pain, and justice where there is wrongdoing. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We trust in You, Lord, and we rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We pray all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
