We come before the throne of grace with this urgent matter, lifting up our brother or sister in Christ who is facing this difficult situation with tenants who are not fulfilling their obligation to pay rent. The Word of God instructs us in Romans 13:7, "Give therefore to everyone what you owe: taxes to whom taxes are due; customs to whom customs; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor." It is clear that fulfilling financial obligations is a matter of righteousness and integrity.
Father, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus that You would move upon the hearts of these tenants. Soften their hearts, Lord, and grant them the willingness and ability to move out peacefully and promptly. We ask that You remove any spirit of contention, strife, or violence that may seek to arise in this situation. Your Word declares in Proverbs 16:7, "When a man’s ways please Yahweh, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." Lord, we ask that You would make a way where there seems to be no way, and that this matter would be resolved without conflict.
We also pray for divine protection over our brother or sister. Surround them with Your holy angels, Lord, as You promised in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Protect them from any harm, financial loss, or undue stress during this time. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, according to Isaiah 54:17, and that You will restore any loss they may have incurred.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold of their heart. We stand on Your promise in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that You would provide for every need and grant them wisdom in handling this situation according to Your will.
Lord, we ask that You would also work in the hearts of these tenants, drawing them to repentance and to a right relationship with You if they do not already know You. May this situation be an opportunity for Your love and grace to be revealed to them.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above all names, through whom we have access to the Father. We trust in Your justice, Your provision, and Your perfect timing. Strengthen our brother or sister in faith, and let them see Your hand at work in this situation. Amen.
