We understand your heartfelt concerns and desires for your family, and we are here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Let's bring your requests before the Lord, seeking His will and intervention in your life and your family's life.
Firstly, we commend you for including "In Jesus Name" in your prayer request as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Let us acknowledge Jesus the Son of God as He is our Lord and Savior.
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 WEB)
And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved mother and daughter. We pray for a deeper, more respectful relationship between them, just as You, Lord, desire for us to live in harmony with one another. Let them be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honor preferring one another. (Romans 12:10 WEB)
Lord, we ask You to soften the daughter's heart, that she may honor and respect her mother, as Your word instructs:
Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which Yahweh your God gives you. (Exodus 20:12 WEB)
Father, we ask You to help the daughter see her mother in a different light, to lighten her heart, and to grant her a sense of humor. We pray that You, Lord, will help the daughter to stop expecting obedience from her mother, but instead, to cultivate a loving, respectful, and humorous relationship with her. We also pray for the daughter's stress levels to decrease and for her health to improve. We believe that a merry heart does good like a medicine. (Proverbs 17:22 WEB)
Dear Lord, we pray for the daughter's marriage, that it may be strong, godly, and happy, and that it may last a lifetime. We ask You to bless the union between the daughter and the son-in-law, and to draw them closer to You and to each other. As it is written:
What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate. (Mark 10:9 WEB)
Father, we pray for the family's proximity, that the daughter and son-in-law, along with the grandchildren, may always live near the mother and grandmother. We ask You to bless their homes, to improve them, and to provide for all their needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)
Lord, we ask You to provide for the mother and grandmother's needs, that they may continue to live in their own home with adequate care. We pray for miracle money to come into their lives, that they may be a blessing to others as well. We ask You to heal the mother and grandmother, and to grant them good health and long lives. We believe that You, Lord, are the God who provides.
Give us this day our daily bread. (Matthew 6:11 WEB)
But my God shall supply every need of yours, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 WEB)
Father, we ask You to help the mother to prove that she can still function and live on her own at 65, with the help of a housekeeper if need be. We believe that You, Lord, are her strength and her portion.
Yahweh is my portion, says my soul; Therefore will I hope in him. (Lamentations 3:24 WEB)
Finally, Lord, we pray for the salvation of this family, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and that they may live according to Your will. We ask You to draw them closer to You, and to grant them eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:16 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Now, let us encourage one another with these words:
Let us therefore follow after things which make for peace, and things whereby we may edify one another. (Romans 14:19 WEB)
