Urgent prayers needed for my cat ###

Please read this entire post. There is alot. Thankyou! Please pray that God will completely heal and give my cat ### a full recovery. She has a brain tumor and masses and lesions on her lungs, which could be chronic bronchitis/ asthma or cancer. There is no treatment. Only medication to make her comfortable. God is the only one that can help her now. She is having so many complications from all of this. Please pray that God will take away and ease any pain or discomfort ### is in. Please pray that God will help ### start eating normal food and drinking water again. Please pray that God will help ### have regular bowel movements. Please pray that God will help her breathing and purring. Purring is triggering coughing, she doesnt want affection anymore, because she starts purring, which makes her cough. She was the most affectionate cat I've ever met in my life , and she seems very sad about it. She tries to cuddle and starts coughing and will lay alone and just stare at us. It is heart breaking. Please pray that God will guide my hands and help me give ### all of the medication and treatments she needs without hurting her or causing distress. She needs 4 pills twice a day, which requires me to pry open her mouth and shove them down her throat. She also needs an inhaler 3 times a day, and a subcutaneous fluid IV at least once a week. Please pray that God will help me and guide me with all of these things and with all decisions regarding ###. Please pray that when ###'s time comes, God will show her mercy and just take her in her sleep. She is utterly terrified of driving and the Vet , and i refuse to let her be put to sleep there, alone, terrified, shaking, crying, not knowing what is happening or where we are. I will not allow that to be her last moments. Please pray that God will help us find someone that can come to our house and put her down if she needs it. I know she is just a cat, but she is our world. Please pray that God will hear and answer all of my desperate cries and pleas and prayers. Thankyou. We have read your entire post and we join you with heavy hearts for your precious cat, and we thank you for sharing so openly and for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We know she is not just a cat to you, she is family and entrusted to your care, and the Lord sees the love and faithful stewardship you have shown her. Scripture tells us a righteous man respects the life of his animal in Proverbs 12:10 and that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without your Father knowing it in Matthew 10:29. We are also reminded that you preserve man and animal, Yahweh in Psalm 36:6, and that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit in Psalm 34:18. Your grief, your sleepless watching, and your tender care for her as she suffers are not unseen by God, and He hears your desperate cries.

We understand how heartbreaking it is to watch her struggle to breathe, to see her want to cuddle and purr and then be seized with coughing, to see her lose interest in food and water and affection, and to feel the weight of giving so many difficult treatments while fearing you may cause her distress. We also understand your anguish over what her last moments should be, and your desire to protect her from terror and loneliness.

We bring all of these burdens before the Lord together in Jesus name.

Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, and we lift this beloved cat and her family to you. Lord, you know every detail of her body, you formed all creatures and you sustain them, and we ask for your mercy and compassion upon her. If it is your will, we ask that you would completely heal her, that you would remove the tumor and the masses and lesions on her lungs, whether from bronchitis, asthma or cancer, and grant her a full recovery, for nothing is impossible with you. We ask that you take away and ease any pain or discomfort she is in, that you would calm her lungs and open her airways so she can breathe easily again, and that purring would no longer trigger coughing. Lord, restore her appetite and thirst, help her to eat normal food and drink water again, and bring healing to her digestive system that she would have regular bowel movements and strength returned to her body. Bring back her comfort and joy, that she might again seek affection without fear and rest peacefully in the arms of those who love her.

Father, we ask for wisdom and steadiness for her caregiver. Your word says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5. Guide these hands to give the pills, the inhaler and the subcutaneous fluids gently and correctly, without hurting her or causing distress, and give discernment for every decision regarding her care. Lead to a compassionate veterinarian who can come to the house if that time comes, so she would not be terrified by travel and strange surroundings, and if it is not your will to heal her on this earth, we ask that you in your mercy would take her peacefully in her sleep, free from fear and pain, and comfort those who love her.

Lord, we cast all our anxiety on you because you care for us, as you teach us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Surround this home with your peace that passes understanding, guard their hearts through this long and exhausting watch, and let them feel your nearness in every hour.

We thank you, Lord, that you hear us when we pray in Jesus name, and we trust your perfect love and perfect will, whether you choose to heal her miraculously or to carry her gently home and comfort those who remain. May your will be done and may your name be glorified through your compassion over all creation. We ask all these things in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our intercessor. We read your whole note, thank you for trusting us with it. We can hear how much you love her and how heavy these weeks have been, watching her struggle to breathe, to eat, to be close to you without coughing, and carrying the weight of all the daily care she needs.

It is not small to give pills twice a day, an inhaler three times a day, and fluids each week to a little one who is uncomfortable and frightened. It makes sense that you feel torn between wanting to help her and not wanting to cause her more distress, and that you are already thinking ahead with such tenderness about how to protect her from fear at the end.

One gentle next step that may ease some of that burden is to talk openly with her current vet team now, while you are not in a crisis moment. Let them know how hard the pilling and inhaler have become, and ask if a tech can show you lower-stress ways to give them. And since having a peaceful passing at home matters so much to you, ask them now for names of trusted mobile or hospice vets in your area who do in-home care, so you will have a number ready and will not have to search urgently later.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this dear cat to You and her family who loves her so deeply. Please ease her pain and give her comfort, steady her breathing, and help her to eat, drink and rest. Give wisdom and steady hands for each treatment and each decision, and surround this home with Your peace. When her time comes, show her mercy and show them clearly what is kind and right to do. We have read your long and heavy burden with much tenderness, and we have carried it before the throne of grace. The Lord knows your sorrow and He knows the affliction of this dear creature committed to your care, and He hears the cries of those who seek Him.

This is your comfort in your affliction, that His Word has quickened you. As you have said, God alone can help where no treatment remains, and His promise is your comfort. You put down your comfort and the world puts down its own, but the believer brings forward the Word of God brimming with rich promises and says, this is my comfort. Take that Word and plead it in prayer. That is your promise which you have made me to hope upon, Lord, fulfill it to me. There will be no grapes in the spring if there is not this cutting away in autumn and winter, and God quickens us in our afflictions through His Word, so that our sorrows have a salutary action on our souls.

We have prayed and we do pray for you and for your cat according to all that you have asked, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone we have access to the Father and in whom alone is salvation.

We pray that the Lord in His mercy, if it be His will, would grant complete healing and full recovery, and that He would ease and take away all pain and discomfort. We pray that He would help her to eat normal food and to drink water again, and to have regular bowel movements, and that He would help her breathing and relieve the coughing that is triggered even by her purring. How heartbreaking that the very sign of her affection now brings suffering, that she tries to cuddle and then withdraws to stare alone. May the God who comforts His people comfort you, and may He comfort your heart and establish you in every good word and work as you tend her.

We pray that the Lord will strengthen you in the Lord for this daily care, and guide your hands as you give the four pills twice a day and the inhaler three times a day and the subcutaneous fluids, that you may do so without hurting her or causing distress. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning. He will give wisdom for every decision regarding her, for He is everywhere and may be found wherever you bow the knee, and He will guide you with His counsel.

We pray also for her end, whether the Lord restores her or calls her hence. We ask that He would show her mercy and, if it be His will to take her, that He would take her gently in her sleep and spare her terror. We understand your desire not to let her last moments be in fear and shaking in a strange place, and we pray that the Lord would provide, if it be needed, a compassionate person who can come to your house to help her peacefully. The Lord who notes the sparrow's fall is not unmindful of His creatures, and while our greatest healing is that of the soul through forgiveness in Christ, we know He is merciful in all His works.

May the Lord hear and answer your desperate cries according to His perfect wisdom and love. May He quicken you again by His Word, and may you find that He is your strength and your song and has become your salvation. We commend you to Him who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we leave you and your dear cat in His tender hands.
