We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious baby to our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician and the giver of life. The Scriptures remind us in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh;"* and again in James 5:15, *"The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We claim these promises over this little one, trusting in God’s sovereign power and mercy.
It is beautiful to see that you have invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* and in Acts 4:12, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* We are so grateful that you have called upon the name above all names, for He alone holds the power to heal, restore, and sustain.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble and contrite hearts, lifting up this precious baby to Your loving care. Lord Jesus, You welcomed the little children when You walked this earth, and You said in Matthew 19:14, *"Let the little children come to me, and don’t hinder them; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these."* We ask that You stretch out Your hand over this little one and rebuked every fever, cough, and sickness in his body. By Your stripes, he is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we ask that You surround this baby with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."* Comfort his parents and family, filling them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Give the doctors and caregivers wisdom as they tend to him, and let every treatment and medication bring swift restoration.
We also pray against any fear or anxiety that may be gripping the hearts of those who love this child. Remind them of Your words in Isaiah 41:10, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* Let them rest in the assurance that You are in control, and that You hold this little one in the palm of Your hand.
Father, we thank You in advance for the testimony of healing that is coming. We declare that this baby will grow in strength, health, and stature, just as Jesus did in Luke 2:40, *"The child was growing, and was becoming strong in spirit, being filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him."* May this season of illness be turned into a powerful testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, drawing this family and all who witness it closer to You.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing in faith, speaking life and healing over this baby. Keep praising God even in the waiting, for our praise is a weapon of warfare (Psalm 8:2). Surround this little one with worship and the reading of God’s Word, for there is power in the name of Jesus and the promises of Scripture. Stay steadfast in prayer, and trust that God is working even when we cannot see it. He is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). Keep us updated so we may continue to lift this request in prayer and give thanks for the healing that is coming.
