We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, let's address the voices you're hearing and the guilt you're experiencing. In 1 John 1:9 (WEB), it says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When you confess your sins to God, He forgives you. The guilt you're feeling may be from the enemy, who accuses us day and night (Revelation 12:10).
Remember, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Jesus paid the price for our sins, and when God looks at us, He sees the righteousness of Christ. It's crucial to renew your mind with God's word, as it says in Romans 12:2, Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.
It's also important to address the feelings you're having about not making it or being with God one day. In John 10:27-29 (WEB), Jesus says My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you are secure in His hand.
Regarding the thoughts of leaving this world, please know that your life is precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11). In John 10:10 (WEB), Jesus says The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. These thoughts are not from God, and we encourage you to seek professional help if needed. We recognize you're aware that you need help and support. We encourage you to reach out to trusted friends, family, or fellow believers who can walk with you during this time.
It's also essential to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). God knows your worries, and He cares about every detail of your life. We need to remember to include the name of Jesus in our prayers. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12). In John 14:6, Jesus says I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is struggling right now. Lord, they feel overwhelmed by their sins and can't see the progress they're making. We speak the truth of Your word over them. You are faithful and righteous to forgive our sins when we confess them to You. Lord, help them to renew their mind with Your word and to see themselves as You see them.
We also pray against the spirits of despair and hopelessness that are trying to overwhelm them. Lord, we know that You have a purpose and a plan for their life, and we speak life and hope over them. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them.
Surround them with Your love, peace, and comfort. Guide them to the support they need, both spiritually and professionally. In the name of Jesus, we pray for their healing, restoration, and victory over this trial.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
