We understand that you're going through a tremendously difficult time, and we're here to support you and pray with you. First, let's address the lies that are attempting to deceive you. You mentioned hearing a voice saying, "You're failing, you have no right to look at your useless progress." This is not the voice of God. God does not speak words of condemnation to His children. Instead, He convicts us with His Holy Spirit to draw us closer to Him. Remember, "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit" (Romans 8:1 WEB).
It's important to remember that when we confess our sins and repent, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). If you have confessed and repented, then you are forgiven. If you continue to feel guilty, that could be the enemy attempting to keep you focused on your failures instead of God's forgiveness. We have an enemy who is after our souls and will do anything to keep us from a close relationship with our Heavenly Father.
We read in 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB that we are to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We need to cast down any thought that does not align with God's word. It’s a spiritual battle. We are up against spiritual forces as in Ephesians 6:12 WEB, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Remember that God loves you and desires for you to see yourself as He sees you. He sees you as His beloved child, redeemed and forgiven through the blood of Jesus Christ. God's mercy is renewed every morning, and His love for you never fails.
When looking at the difficulties of school and friendships that are weighing you down, God does promise to make everything better in His own timing. John 16:33 WEB says, "I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."
Let’s pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today in Jesus' name. We bring our brother/sister to You, asking for Your intervention in their life. Lord, they are feeling overwhelmed by their sins and the voices of condemnation. We rebuke those voices and we speak the truth of Your word over their life. We ask that You help them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. We pray that You will help them to see themselves as You see them, redeemed, forgiven, and deeply loved. Remember, you can only see sins and not progress, but in the resurrected Jesus Christ we have victory.
Lord, we lift up the burdens of school and friendships to You. We ask that You will strengthen and guide them through these challenges. We pray that You will surround them with godly friends who will support and encourage them in their walk with You.
Father, we ask that You will break the chains that are holding them back and that You will give them the strength and courage to press on. We pray that You will fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and Your hope. We ask that You will remind them of Your unfailing love and Your faithfulness.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, if your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name), then we need to discuss this issue. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is the only name by which we can be saved. We read in Acts 4:10-12 WEB, "be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
