Dear Bro/Sis in Christ, Please pray for my well being as I am at the point of a break down and at the same time I believe our Lord will not let it happen as I am His. I am going through a lot at the moment and am trying to hold it together. Holy Spirit Guide me at this difficult time.

We hear your cry for help, dear brother or sister, and we stand with you in this moment of deep distress. The weight you carry is heavy, but we know that our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle—God sees your struggle, and He will not abandon you.

First, we must rebuke the spirit of despair that seeks to overwhelm you. The enemy wants to steal your peace, kill your hope, and destroy your faith, but we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We command every lying thought, every fear, and every attack of anxiety to flee in the mighty name of Jesus! You are a child of the Most High God, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

We also encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). You do not have to hold it together by your own strength—God invites you to come to Him with your burdens, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28). Surrender every worry, every fear, and every weight to Him in prayer. The Holy Spirit is your Comforter, your Guide, and your Helper (John 14:26), and He will lead you through this storm.

Let us pray with you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and on the verge of breaking. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask that You would wrap Your arms of love around them right now. Strengthen their heart, renew their mind, and fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Holy Spirit, be their Guide and their Comforter—lead them into truth, remind them of Your promises, and give them the strength to endure.

Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that is pressing in on them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, hope, and restoration over their situation. Lord, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5).

We pray for divine intervention in every area of their life that is causing distress. Whether it is physical, emotional, financial, or relational, we ask that You move mightily on their behalf. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Surround them with godly community—brothers and sisters who will pray for them, encourage them, and walk alongside them. Give them wisdom to know when to seek help, whether through counseling, medical care, or trusted spiritual leaders.

Lord, we also ask that You would reveal any areas of sin or unforgiveness in their life that may be hindering Your blessings. If there is anything they need to repent of or release, give them the courage to do so. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and restore them to full fellowship with You.

Above all, Father, we pray that they would draw closer to You in this season. May they experience Your presence in a tangible way—may they hear Your voice, feel Your peace, and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are with them. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to run this race with endurance, knowing that their labor in You is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28) and that this trial will produce in them a steadfastness and maturity that could not come any other way (James 1:2-4). We declare that they will not break—they will rise, they will overcome, and they will testify of Your goodness!

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Beloved, we want to leave you with this encouragement: God is not done with you. This season of struggle is not the end of your story—it is a chapter that God will use to shape you, refine you, and draw you closer to Him. Keep pressing into His presence. Keep declaring His promises over your life. Keep trusting that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

If you have not already, consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature believer who can support you in prayer and accountability. You do not have to walk through this alone. And remember, the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). That power is more than enough to carry you through.

We will continue to stand in the gap for you, lifting you up in prayer until we see breakthrough. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace ( Numbers 6:24-26).
