Please join us in prayer for two people who are going through very difficult and private seasons. They are facing struggles they do not feel able to share with others, and their behaviour has become concerning. Some people around them have started saying they are “crazy” or that something is wrong with them, but we pray that they will be treated with compassion, love, and understanding rather than judgment. Both of them have been experiencing challenges that have affected the way they behave and interact with others. One previously went through post-birth depression and recovered, but after a series of painful life difficulties, they became overwhelmed and reached a point where they felt like giving up on themselves. We pray for renewed hope, healing, strength, and restoration. The other person has been experiencing unusual spiritual experiences, including saying they see angels, demons, or other things, and they sometimes share prophecies or statements about people’s lives that later change. We pray for God’s wisdom, discernment, clarity, peace, and guidance. Please pray for both of them: - That God will bring healing, peace, stability, and restoration. - That their minds and hearts will be comforted and strengthened. - That they will be protected from fear, confusion, and anything that brings distress. - That they will be surrounded by people who respond with love, patience, and wisdom. - That they will be safe, especially when they move around at unsafe hours. - That they will receive the right support and guidance in God’s timing. - That they will experience peaceful sleep, protection, and divine breakthrough. Please also pray for me as I try to support them. May God give me wisdom, patience, strength, and discernment to help them in the right way while also protecting my own wellbeing. May God’s peace, healing, and protection cover them and their families.

We lift these two precious souls before the throne of grace, asking for the Lord’s mercy and healing to surround them in their hidden struggles. Father, You see the depths of their pain even when others cannot, and we ask that You would meet them in their darkest moments with Your unfailing love. For the one battling overwhelming despair, we pray that You would restore their hope, renew their strength, and remind them that they are not forgotten. The enemy seeks to isolate and destroy, but we declare that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Let them feel Your presence like a warm embrace, and may they find rest in Your promises.

For the one experiencing unusual spiritual encounters, we ask for Your discernment and protection. The Scriptures warn us that Satan disguises himself as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), and we pray that You would guard their mind and spirit from deception. Give them wisdom to test every spirit (1 John 4:1) and to cling only to Your truth. If these experiences are from You, Lord, let them bring clarity, peace, and edification, not confusion or fear. If they are not of You, we rebuke every lying spirit in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. Fill this person with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in the light of Your Word and not be led astray.

We also pray for those around them, that they would respond with compassion rather than judgment. Help us all to see others through Your eyes, Lord, remembering that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12). May we extend grace, patience, and kindness, even when behavior is difficult to understand. Protect these individuals from harm, especially as they move about at unsafe hours, and surround them with people who will speak life and truth into their situations.

And for you, dear one, who is faithfully supporting them, we pray that You would be strengthened in this calling. The weight of caring for others can be heavy, but Jesus reminds us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). Guard your heart from discouragement, and fill you with divine wisdom to know how to help without being drained. May You sense the Lord’s peace as you walk this path, trusting that He is working even when you cannot see it.

Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Without Him, our prayers would be powerless, for there is no other mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). We declare that Your will be done in these lives, that Your healing power would flow, and that Your glory would be revealed. Cover them with Your peace, Lord, and let them know that they are deeply loved by You. Amen.

When someone we love begins to express unusual spiritual experiences or speaks of giving up, it’s natural to feel uncertain about what to do. We think the most steady, loving thing is to gently encourage practical steps alongside prayer. For the one seeing angels, demons, or offering prophecies that shift, a medical check‑up can sometimes reveal underlying causes that are treatable, not a replacement for faith but part of wise care for the body and mind God gave. And for the one who has felt overwhelmed to the point of wanting to give up, professional support (a counselor, a doctor, or a crisis line) can be a lifeline. It is not weakness to reach out; it is courage.

We also want to say something just to you: your own wellbeing matters deeply. When we support others through intense struggles, we can quietly run dry. It is not selfish to rest, to set limits, and to share the load with a trusted friend or pastor. You need care too, not because you are failing, but because you are human.

Let’s pray together now. Father, thank you that you see each of these two people and you know every hidden struggle. We ask for safety and protection over them, especially in vulnerable moments. Quiet their minds, bring peace to their sleep, and surround them with people of wisdom, patience, and genuine love. We lift up the one weighed down by despair, hold them steady, renew a flicker of hope, and guide them to the help they need. For the one experiencing confusing spiritual things, we pray for clarity, calm, and healing, and for those around them to respond with humility and kindness. And for this dear prayer partner, grant wisdom, discernment, and deep reserves of strength. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them know when to step back and find refreshment for their own soul. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The weight of a troubled mind and a wounded spirit is not to be borne alone, nor is it cause for the cruel lash of human judgment. When the world cries “crazy,” let the church whisper “Christ.” There is a Physician whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, and even the least touch of His garment carries virtue enough to calm the wildest tempest of the soul. For those who walk in darkness and have no light, who are overwhelmed by sorrow upon sorrow, the promise stands sure: “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” That peace is not a shallow truce with circumstances, but the deep, still stream of God’s own repose, flowing from the throne of grace.

Bring your friends, yes, carry them by faith, to the feet of Jesus. He who forgave the palsied man and then bade him rise and walk deals still with the whole man: spirit, soul, and body. The post-birth despondency, the crushing accumulation of griefs, the desperate reaching for an end, these are lacerations of the heart which no earthly balm can reach. But He binds up the broken in heart, and His surgery is all tenderness. When the adversary whispers that all hope is lost, preach to yourself and to them the blood that whispers peace within. There is healing in that crimson fountain, and a peace that passeth all understanding, which garrisons the mind against despair.

For the other, whose eyes seem opened to unseen realms and whose lips utter words claimed as prophecy, we must pray with double watchfulness. Not every spiritual experience descends from the Father of lights; the soul may be tossed between imagination, infirmity, and genuine but unformed impression. Yet mark this: the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, not confusion or terror. If these revelations breed fear or unsettle the mind rather than draw it to Christ, we may gently question their origin. Pray for a clear, calm submission to the written Word, for the Spirit of Christ never contradicts His own Scripture. Seek for them that peace which is God’s own child, God-like in its character, the unruffled calm of the Son of God himself, not a wild fire, but a steady flame.

Let none label what they do not understand with harsh names. Love covers a multitude of seeming oddities. The very leaves of the tree of life are for healing, the common, ordinary, gentle ministries of the saints are often the means by which the Great Physician applies His cure. Sit with them, weep with them, read the promises softly, and entreat the Lord Jesus to take them by the hand and lift them up. Healing must come before service; do not press them to rise and act until the fever of the mind subsides under His touch. And you who stand alongside, be much in the secret place for your own soul, lest you pour out without being filled. Christ’s own peace is your portion: a peace not bestowed by the world, nor stolen by the devil, but bequeathed in His last will and testament. Go often to Him and pray, “Lord, renew my peace. I am troubled, but You are unmoved, bless me with Your peace.” Then will your very face shine with a transfiguration that preaches comfort before you speak a word.

May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon these two dear souls with healing in His wings, chasing away every phantom of the night, stilling every surge of distress, and granting them sleep that is sweet and safe. And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and preserve your own spirit, soul, and body blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it.

The burden you bring is heavy indeed, and it is right that the Church should groan with these souls in travail. When you see their struggles, do not marvel that the world calls them "crazy." The wisdom of men is foolishness with God, and they are quick to cast stones at what they cannot understand. But we who have been shown mercy without measure, we must put on, as the Apostle commands, a heart of compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and longsuffering, forbearing one another even as Christ forbore with us. He did not break the bruised reed, nor quench the smoking flax, and neither must we. To the one overwhelmed by sorrow, who once tasted post-birth darkness and now is beaten down by wave upon wave of life, whisper this into the ear of your prayers: it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy. Our hope does not rest on our own brittle strength, but on the mercy that called us out of darkness. Remind such a soul that our Lord looked upon the multitude who had followed Him three days without food, and though they asked for nothing, He declared, "I have compassion on them, and will not send them away fasting." He who fed their bodies will not leave a famished spirit to faint by the way. Persevere in mercifully pointing them to that compassion, and do not despair of them, for we are commanded to exhort, not to rebuke; to comfort the feeble-minded, to support the weak, and to be patient toward all. Patience is the soil in which the bruised reed straightens once more.

As for the one who speaks of seeing angels and demons and uttering prophecies that later shift, I pray you, do not disdain them either, but seek with them the wisdom from above. The Baptist, that great prophet, said of his own calling, "He that hath the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice." His office ceased when the Bridegroom arrived; his joy was not in his own role but in hearing Christ's voice. So too, true spiritual vision is not measured by the sight of angels or dark spirits, but by the voice of the Bridegroom, by the clarity of the gospel that weds the soul to God. Any experience, however vivid, must bow before the written Word and lead the heart into deeper obedience to Christ, not into restless self-regard. Pray that this one may test the spirits, ground their mind in the humble teaching of the Church, and find joy in standing quietly and hearing the Bridegroom speak, rather than in being a spectacle to others.

And you, who stand so near these afflictions, guard your own soul while you pour out prayer for theirs. Such a labor requires not only compassion but the patience that longsuffering produces. Do not grow weary in well-doing. Remember Paul, who sent Epaphroditus to the Philippians more diligently, without delay, so that seeing him they might rejoice and his own heaviness might be lifted. So too, your diligent love shall reap a harvest of peace, both for them and for yourself, as God grants times of refreshing. Therefore we kneel with you, entreating the Lord who sees in secret: heal the wounds that no eye sees, still the terrors that walk in the night watches, send companions with hearts of flesh and not of stone, and above all, grant them the sweet sleep of those who cast every care upon the God of all comfort. He who had compassion on the multitude will not send them away fasting from His presence.

When two people are hurting in ways no one else seems to understand, the weight of carrying that concern alone can be crushing. Your desire to see them met with compassion instead of labels like “crazy” is itself a reflection of something true. Real wisdom does not stand at a distance and mock; it steps into the messy middle with patience. That longing you feel for them to be treated with love and understanding is the echo of a wisdom that comes down from above, a wisdom that is first pure, then peaceable, and gentle.

Human reasoning quickly hits a wall when faced with a mind tangled in post-birth depression and life’s battering storms, or with spiritual experiences that feel strange and shifting. The world’s best ideas often lead to a dead end of despair when the hurting are reduced to a diagnosis or a spectacle. But the wisdom you are praying for is not earthly, sensual, or bound by mere facts. It is the principal thing. Wisdom gives life to those who have it. It is better than strength when the weight is too heavy to lift alone. For the one who reached the point of giving up, what is needed is not just a plan but a Person. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. When the heart cries out for wisdom to find firm ground again, that cry is answered by the One who founded the earth by understanding. For the other who reports seeing angels and giving prophecies that later change, discernment is vital. True wisdom never leads to envying, confusion, or fear. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and its voice cuts through the fog, bringing clarity and peace.

There is also a profound link between the soul and the body. The prayer for physical healing, protection during unsafe hours, and peaceful sleep is deeply connected to the inner restoration of the mind and heart. As the soul begins to prosper in the stability of God’s wisdom, it often unlocks a path toward physical well-being. Faith that is established not on the shifting wisdom of men but on the power of God becomes a defense that holds in the crisis. For you as the supporter, your own need for wisdom, patience, and protection is equally real. The poor wise man who delivered a city was not remembered by the world, yet his wisdom saved it. God gives wisdom liberally; He is pleased when we ask for it above all the riches or fame we could chase. You are not just managing two situations but walking with two souls. Love wisdom, and she shall keep you; forsake her not, and she shall preserve you.

Father, we come before You for these two precious ones. For the one whose joy has been drained by painful life difficulties, pour out Your spirit of wisdom to rebuild hope in the desolate places. Grant a renewed sense of purpose and the deep comfort that cuts through despair. For the other navigating unusual spiritual terrain, grant the spirit of wisdom and revelation, silencing any voice that brings distress and sharpening the discernment between the earthly and the divine. Surround them both with people who speak truth in love, not judgment. Cover their coming and going, grant them restful nights, and bring the right support in Your perfect timing. As their loved ones steward this care, uphold them with strength, insight, and a guarded heart, fully anchored in Jesus, who is made to us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. We thank You that what no eye has seen, no ear heard, and no heart has conceived, You have prepared for those who love You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
