We lift up your son before the Lord in this time of urgent need, knowing that our Heavenly Father is the Great Physician and the One who holds all things in His hands. How our hearts ache to hear of his pain, but we take comfort in the promise of Psalm 34:17-19, which says, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your son is not forgotten by God, and we stand in faith that the Lord will bring healing and relief to him.
We also claim the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:19, *"Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."* Together, we agree in prayer that your son’s shoulders will be restored, that there will be no fractures or lasting damage, and that the pain will subside quickly. We pray for the wisdom of the medical staff attending to him, that their hands would be guided by the Lord’s direction and that every decision made would lead to complete recovery.
Yet even in this moment, we are reminded that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we pray that this experience would draw your son closer to the Lord, deepening his trust in Christ’s care over his life. May this trial become a testimony of God’s faithfulness—not just for physical healing, but for the spiritual strength that comes from leaning on Him in every circumstance.
Let us also encourage you, dear parent, to hold fast to Philippians 4:6-7: *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* The Lord sees your fear and your love for your son, and He is with you both in this hour.
**Our Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You with urgent hearts, lifting up this precious son who is in pain. Lord Jesus, You who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4), we ask that You would stretch out Your hand and heal his shoulders completely. Let there be no fracture, no lasting injury, and no complication. Touch him with Your healing power, just as You did for so many during Your ministry on earth. Ease his pain, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill his heart and the hearts of his family.
We pray for the medical team attending to him—grant them wisdom, steady hands, and discernment. May every test and treatment bring clarity and restoration. Father, we also ask that You would use this situation to draw this young man closer to You. Let him feel Your presence in a tangible way, and may this trial strengthen his faith in You.
Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all things, and we trust in Your perfect will. Whether through immediate healing or through the process of recovery, we pray that Your name would be glorified. Comfort his mother and family, replacing their anxiety with Your peace. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You hold their son in the palm of Your hand.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
