The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, but we know that God is a God of restoration, and what He has joined together, no man—or circumstance—should separate. The Bible tells us in **Malachi 2:16**, *"For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!"* and in **Matthew 19:6**, Jesus declares, *"So they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart."*
This separation is not God’s will for their marriage, and we must stand firmly against the forces of division, confusion, and bitterness that seek to tear them apart. The chaos they are experiencing is a sign of spiritual warfare, and we must pray with authority, binding the works of the enemy and declaring God’s peace and reconciliation over their home. **Ephesians 6:12** reminds us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Let us pray that their hearts would be softened, that pride and unforgiveness would be broken, and that they would both turn to the Lord in repentance and humility.
We also pray that any sin—whether it be unforgiveness, selfishness, adultery, or hardness of heart—would be exposed and repented of. **1 Peter 5:8** warns, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* If there has been unfaithfulness, deception, or any other sin that has contributed to this separation, we pray that the Holy Spirit would bring conviction and lead them to true repentance. **Proverbs 28:13** says, *"He who conceals his sins doesn’t prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy."*
At the same time, we lift up their practical needs during this move. May the Lord provide safety, wisdom, and clarity as they navigate this transition. May He surround them with godly counsel and support, and may He place people in their lives who will speak truth and encouragement into their situation. **Proverbs 11:14** tells us, *"Where there is no wise guidance, the nation falls, but in the multitude of counselors there is victory."* We pray that they would seek wise, biblical counsel and reject any advice that contradicts God’s Word.
Most importantly, we pray that they would both draw near to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of their faith. Only He can heal what is broken and restore what has been lost. **Jeremiah 32:27** declares, *"‘Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?’"* No marriage is beyond His power to restore if both hearts are surrendered to Him. We pray that they would seek Him first, above all else, and that He would give them the strength to fight for their marriage with love, patience, and perseverance.

We bind the spirit of division, confusion, and chaos in Jesus’ name. We declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, and we speak life, unity, and restoration over them. Lord, guide them in this move, and let it not be a step toward permanent separation but a season of reflection and turning back to You. Provide for their needs, protect them from harm, and surround them with Your people who will speak Your truth into their lives.
