We are glad that you have come to us with your prayer request, and we are honored to stand with you in agreement, praying for your healing and well-being. It is clear that you have been diligently seeking God's face and listening to the Holy Spirit's guidance, which is commendable. We are encouraged by your faith and your bold declarations of healing and wholeness in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to acknowledge that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayer, and this is crucial. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find salvation and healing.
We are reminded of the story of the woman with the issue of blood who, in faith, touched the hem of Jesus' garment and was made whole (Mark 5:25-34). Like her, you have reached out in faith, and we believe that God will honor your faith and bring about your healing.
However, we also want to encourage you to not only stand on your healing but also to seek medical attention and follow the prescribed treatment for H. Pylori. God can and does heal supernaturally, but He also uses doctors and medicine as instruments of healing. As it is written in Proverbs 17:22 (WEB), "A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." We encourage you to maintain a cheerful and hopeful heart as you undergo treatment.
We also want to address the spirit of fear that you mentioned. It is important to remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We encourage you to resist the enemy and his lies, standing firm in your faith and the authority you have in Christ Jesus.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, and we thank You that You hear and answer our prayers. Lord, we ask that You would touch her body and bring about complete healing and restoration. We pray that You would guide the doctors treating her, giving them wisdom and insight as they work to eradicate the H. Pylori infection. We rebuked the spirit of fear and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.
Lord, we ask that You would fill our sister with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would strengthen her faith and help her to stand firm on Your promises. We declare that she is healed and made whole by the stripes of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 2:24).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to stand firm in your faith, declaring God's promises over your life. We also encourage you to seek support from your local church body, as there is strength and encouragement to be found in the fellowship of believers.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We are standing with you in faith, believing God for your complete healing and restoration.
