Urgent Prayer Request - new job asap and financial windfall asap

Craistuurmere

Disciple of Prayer
Please pray that all my efforts to find a job will be rewarded, that God immediately gives me a new legitimate job without delay, which in terms of basic pay is better than in my last job in ###, and that I can start asap, and please also pray for an immediate financial windfall to fully cover for all our rental & utility bills, as well as for all our necessities, in Jesus name Amen.

We join you in lifting this urgent need before our Heavenly Father together in Jesus name and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.

We understand the weight of needing work and provision without delay, especially when rent and utility bills and daily necessities are pressing on you and your household. We stand with you in prayer for God's provision and for open doors, while also trusting His perfect timing and wisdom.

We pray for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You together in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You see our brother or sister in this season of urgent need and You know every bill, every necessity, and every effort that has been made to find work. We ask in Jesus name that You would open the right door for a legitimate job soon, a job that uses the gifts You have given, that provides honestly and with dignity, and that meets the needs of this household. We ask that You would guide every application and interview and grant favor, and that if it is Your will, this new position would provide better than the last one, so that Your provision and faithfulness would be clearly seen. We also ask You to supply what is needed for rent, utilities and all necessities, and to give wisdom for stewardship in this time. Give peace while waiting and strength to continue diligently seeking. We ask this according to Your will and for Your glory, in Jesus name, Amen.

We encourage you to continue committing your work to the Lord as you seek. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. Proverbs 16:3. And Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23. God honors diligent, honest labor, and we affirm your desire for a legitimate job. That desire is good and pleasing to Him.

We also want to gently encourage you regarding the request for an immediate financial windfall. We absolutely believe God is able to provide suddenly and abundantly, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Yet Scripture teaches us to seek His kingdom and His provision daily and to trust His timing rather than demanding an instant windfall on our schedule. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. And we remember, I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. Psalm 37:25. Sometimes His provision comes through the work of our hands, sometimes through unexpected help, but always it comes from His hand and in His perfect time.

We encourage you to keep doing what is in your power to do, to apply diligently, to follow up, to seek wise counsel, to let your church family know of your need if possible, and to steward carefully what you have while you wait. We also pray that God will give you peace from anxiety as you wait, for He knows what you need before you ask. Don't be anxious, saying, What will we eat? or What will we drink? or With what will we be clothed? For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. Matthew 6:31-32.

We will continue to pray with you that God rewards your efforts, that He provides a good and honest job without unnecessary delay, that He covers your rental and utility needs and all necessities, and that through this trial your trust in Him would grow even stronger.

We have been thinking of you since we read your note. Carrying rent and utility bills with no steady income is a heavy burden, and we understand why you are asking God for work quickly and for provision that truly covers what your household needs.

In a season like this the pressure can make it feel like your worth is tied to the next paycheck. We want to remind you that you matter to God and to those who care about you apart from any job title, even while you work diligently to find the next position.

One thing that has helped others in this spot is to name the most immediate pressure point and get support around it. If rent or utilities are due soon, it can help to reach out early to a trusted local church, a community agency, or a financial counselor who can help with budgeting and point to short term assistance options, and to talk directly with your landlord or utility provider about your situation. For the job search itself, a local career center, employment agency, or church jobs ministry can often review a resume, practice interviews, and share leads that are hard to find alone. We will keep praying as you take those next steps.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our brother before You. You know his needs, his efforts, and the bills before him. Give him wisdom, favor in his search, and daily provision for his household. Open doors for honest work that fits his skills, and give him peace and steadiness as he waits on You. Amen.

Your urgent request for work and for daily provision has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord in prayer. We know what a heavy burden it is to wait for honest employment while rent and household necessities press upon you, and we do not make light of your need.

The Scriptures set before us the example of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Though he lost his estate and was brought very low, he fell down and worshipped, keeping right with God under trial. We are reminded that our longest sorrows have a close and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery, for the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Even when Job mourned that his glory was no longer fresh in him, God was able to renew his strength and at the last to give him twice as much as before. So we are taught to make our approach unto the Lord in childlike confidence even when He seems to frown, believing that He is both righteous and merciful and that He hears the cry of His people.

We pray for you now that the Lord in His wisdom and goodness would open a door for legitimate labour, that He would provide a suitable position without needless delay and that He would supply what is needed for your rent, your utilities and your daily bread. We ask that if it be His will, this employment would be one in which you may work honestly with your own hands and provide for your household, and that your pay may be sufficient for your needs. Above all we pray that you may be kept in patient trust, not charging God foolishly, but resting in His providence, seeking first His kingdom and righteousness, and finding that He will add what is needful.

O Lord our God, look upon this need. Thou knowest what things we have need of before we ask. Grant honest work, daily bread, and contentment with Thy provision. Keep this dear soul from unbelieving speech and sustain with Divine support, that whether Thou givest much or little, Christ may be trusted and honoured. Grant grace to wait upon Thy timing and to walk in integrity before Thee. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation and access to the Father. Amen.
