Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you at this very hour in prayer for Mrs. ### as she undergoes this high risk surgery following her stroke, and we bring her before the throne of grace with urgency and faith.
Heavenly Father, in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, your Son, through whom alone is salvation and deliverance from evil, we ask for your mercy upon Mrs. ###. Lay your healing hand upon her. Grant complete healing and full restoration according to your will. Guide the hands and minds of the surgeons, the doctors and the nurses, and give them wisdom, skill and clarity in every decision they make.
Lord Jesus, you are the true physician, and your Church is a spiritual surgery where wounds are healed. We ask that you heal what is broken in her body, restore what the stroke has damaged, and bring her through this surgery into life and strength. We pray that every work of darkness, every witchcraft, incantation, spell, hex, conjuration and every malicious intent directed against her, including any malice attributed to her ex husband, would be rendered null and void by your divine authority and by the power of your cross. Let no curse or scheme of the enemy stand, for you have delivered us from the curse and brought us into sonship through Christ.
Father, we ask not only for deliverance from this present danger, but for the supply of your good grace in her life. Comfort her family, give them peace that passes understanding, and help them to hear your word with care and to trust you continually. Whether you grant deliverance from death or strength to endure through it, help us to trust your justice and your love, knowing that you will reward and restore those who belong to you.
We commit Mrs. ### into your hands, asking for a miracle of life and healing if it be your will, and for your presence to remain with her now and in the days to come. We ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
