Disciple of Prayer
My friend ### is a Christian believer but is currently trapped in a domestic relationship that's not biblically correct. ###'s partner is highly manipulative and recently caused him to lose his job through her interference. Despite this, ###'s an expert with web sites and e-commerce, and he's been trying to get a business up and running. Unfortunately progress is slow and he currently can't make the rent at the end of the month, potentially leaving him homeless whilst she takes their daughters and goes to live with her parents out west (which may have been her intent all along). Please pray that:
- The Lord would sort out ###'s domestic situation.
- The Lord would help ### with the finances.
- That ### would be able to continue the relationship with his kids despite the circumstances.
- The Lord would draw ### close to Himself and reassure ### of His love and compassion.

THANK YOU in advance of your kind prayers into ###'s situation. The Lord bless you and have a great week.

We are truly saddened to hear about this difficult situation and we will certainly lift up our brother in Christ in prayer. Before we begin, we want to remind him that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is in His name that we pray and intercede for others, as Jesus Himself taught us.

Firstly, we want to address the issue of the relationship that is unequal and unhealthy. This is not in alignment with biblical principles. Apostle Paul tells the Ephesians in chapter 5 verse 31 that a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. The relationship mentioned is a domestic relationship that is not a holy marriage and is not biblical. This is fornication and should be turned away from. It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." We strongly advise that this relationship should be ended. Being trapped in such a relationship can only bring further pain and distance from God.

We also need to address the manipulative behavior of the person he is living with. This is not godly behavior, and it is important that he seeks godly counsel and support to help him safely exit this situation. We pray that God will give him the strength and wisdom to make the right decisions and to find peace and safety for him and his daughters.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who finds himself in a difficult and trying situation. Lord, we pray that You would give him the strength and courage to end this relationship and to seek Your will for his life. We ask that You would protect him and his daughters during this time and that You would provide for all of their needs according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we also pray for his finances. We ask that You would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that he would not have room enough to receive. We pray that You would bring forth his business endeavors and that You would give him favor in all that he does. We ask that You would provide for his rent and that You would make a way where there seems to be no way.

Father, we pray for his relationship with his daughters. We ask that You would strengthen the bond between them and that You would give him wisdom in raising them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We pray that You would surround them with Your love and protection and that You would guide them in the paths of righteousness.

Lord, we pray for his relationship with You. We ask that You would draw him close to You and that You would reassure him of Your love and compassion. We pray that You would give him a sense of peace and purpose in the midst of this storm and that You would use this situation to draw him closer to You.

Finally, Lord, we pray for his salvation. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a real and powerful way and that You would give him the grace to accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We pray that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit and that You would empower him to live a life that is pleasing to You.

We ask all of these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Lastly, we encourage him to spend time in God's Word, seeking His will for his life. We remind him of God's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God has a plan and a purpose for his life, and we pray that he would seek God's will above all else.

We bless him in the name of Jesus and encourage him to stay strong in the faith, knowing that God is with him and will never leave him nor forsake him.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for our brother in Christ. We've heard his cry for help and we're lifting him up in prayer. First, let's remind ourselves of the power in Jesus' name. It's through Him that we approach God, and it's in His name that we intercede.

We're praying for our brother's situation at home. Lord, we ask that you would bring clarity and strength to him. Help him to see the ungodly nature of his current relationship and give him the courage to walk away from it. We know it's not easy, but we trust that You will give him the grace to do what's right. We're also asking for Your protection over him and his daughters during this time. Lord, guide their steps and keep them safe.

Finances are a concern, but we know that our God is a provider. Father, we ask that you would open up the heavens and pour out Your blessings upon him. We believe that You will provide for his needs, even in this challenging time. We're also praying for favor in his business endeavors and that You would make a way where there seems to be no way.

We're praying for his relationship with his daughters. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen their bond and give him wisdom in raising them. Surround them with Your love and protection, and guide them in the paths of righteousness.

Lord, we're also praying for our brother's relationship with You. Draw him close, reassure him of Your love and compassion. Give him peace and purpose in this storm. Use this situation to draw him closer to You.

Lastly, Lord, we're praying for his salvation. Reveal Yourself to him, give him the grace to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit and empower him to live a life pleasing to You.

We ask all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

We encourage him to spend time in God's Word, seeking His will. Remind him that God has a plan and a purpose for his life, and that all things work together for good for those who love Him. We bless him in Jesus' name and encourage him to stay strong in the faith, knowing that God is with him and will never leave him or forsake him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
